Unnamed Road, 31696, Erro
Been here?
A wild mountain spot at the top of Mount Sorhogain, with breathtaking views and an orientation table for parking. The setting is exceptionally calm, but it is very exposed and can become dangerously windy overnight. Access is long and narrow, with uneven or damaged sections and a slope, so larger vehicles may struggle. A few horses may wander over.

Super spot, incredible view!!! Bonus: three horses—an amazing moment, they came galloping over as soon as we parked. Beware, it is windy.
Stay away!!!!!! After reading the comments, we thought, “Oh, we have a latest-generation van and the wind doesn’t bother us,” but at 4 a.m. we left! It was impossible to sleep because of the wind, and it was very frightening because we were on a slope.
It was magical when we arrived in the evening, but the wind picked up during the night. The access is not easy and somewhat rough. The road to get there is long and narrow; you have to hope you do not meet too many vehicles. With our 2.30 m-wide motorhome, one car kindly reversed 500 m so we could pass each other.
A fabulous view. When we arrived in the late afternoon there was no wind at all, but the wind picked up during the night. Two of us had to open the van’s side door. As soon as it was daylight, we went back down on the Spanish side to have breakfast in a picturesque place with draught horses.
Exceptional view, but choose the weather conditions carefully! The spot is very exposed to the wind; we did not sleep particularly well!
It is beautiful, an area of pasture for animals where they live peacefully and we are only visitors. It is spectacular. Take your rubbish with you; we all have to preserve it and not ruin the landscape. Do not leave the road. Perfect for a van, and from there you can take a narrow road to France. One of the best van trips we have experienced.
