Ostermühle 1, 65366, Geisenheim
Been here?
A largely flat motorhome pitch in the yard of a friendly winery, surrounded by fields and forest. Wine-cellar visits and tastings are available, and the estate’s wine fridge offers wines and alcohol-free drinks. The Gutsausschank is currently open from Sunday to Tuesday, while nearby villages and vineyards are suitable for cycling. Mobile reception is very poor.

A beautiful place among fields and forest, right by the welcoming winemaking family. We always enjoy staying here. The winery restaurant is currently open Sunday to Tuesday. Otherwise, the wine fridge with excellent wines and non-alcoholic drinks is available. Come and enjoy the atmosphere here.
Three motorhomes travelling together. Plenty of space for us to spread our and enjoy the lovely peaceful atmosphere that is here. Lots of birdlife. We enjoyed a wine tasting and bought (and consumed) several bottles of reasonably priced wine in the evening. I phoned in advance to make the booking for the same evening and it was no problem. Bit of a hill down to Lidl, so stock up before arrival.
Beautiful and quiet! The surrounding villages and vineyards offer a fantastic experience by bike. We also bought some nice wine here from their own wine cellar.
We were nearby and called spontaneously. Although the site was already full, the owner did not turn us away. We arrived after 6 p.m. and were still allowed to taste wine and take some with us. Very nice hosts and winemakers. Highly recommended. The only drawback is the very poor mobile reception.
We spontaneously stayed here for two nights. Very beautiful surroundings. Very nice hosts and delicious wine; we also took a few cases with us. The network reception was a bit poor, but we solved it creatively: we put a phone on the roof of the caravan and turned on its hotspot. The children were happy. Five stars; we would gladly return.
Quiet place, good for one night. Fifteen minutes by bike from Rüdesheim, a beautiful town on the Rhine. Electricity and water are available, but internet reception is a no-zone; with a bit of luck you can get 4G, but usually only E (Edge). The owners are very friendly. We were with our Labrador, which was no problem for them.
The new motorhome site on the meadow is already prepared. Electricity connections have not yet been installed. A cable reel from the hall with a long 25-meter cable solves this. An unequivocal recommendation! We stayed another night immediately. Approach via Geisenheim and Johannisberg has no steep climb; via Presberg it is strenuous. Gladly again!
Friendly welcome, uncomplicated. The restaurant is open Friday to Sunday. We would gladly return.
Really nice place. Very friendly host, great wines and beautyful surroundings. Small dishes are sereved and bottles of wines Can be bought. We enjoyed our stay.
The approach is quite hilly and winding, but it is worth it! Unfortunately, staying on the grass is currently not possible. The winemaker is looking for alternatives. The wine is delicious and the restaurant is simple but tasty, with very friendly operators. Only two stars because of the pitch situation; otherwise it would have been more.
Since all the campsites in Rüdesheim were still closed, we discovered this very nice winemaker. We spent two nights there in complete silence. Beautiful location, and Rüdesheim is about 8 kilometers away. However, you are well advised to have an e-bike. Mobile reception is rather poor. The overnight price was increased from €5 to €10.
We stayed there with our black van. It is a fantastic, quiet place with an electricity connection. The winemaking family is very nice, and the winery restaurant has excellent food and very good wines. We can highly recommend it.
Despite the construction work, staying overnight was possible. A very nice winemaking family, with delicious wine available to buy on site at any time. Hiking trails start directly from the property, and if travelling with children there is a great playground.
We received a warm welcome. Very tasty wine available for self-service, and a wine tavern is about 300 meters away on foot. The €5 pitch fee is absolutely fair.
A super nice and wonderful winemaking family. Unfortunately, we could not stay there with the motorhome because of construction work. The wine is delicious, and the place is highly recommended for a break and a meal. We would gladly return.
The site appears to be closed because it is being rebuilt. See my posted pictures for details! It is best to call them before arriving.
