Free street parking in a dead-end road, convenient for visiting Bergamo’s upper town and reached by stairs. The road is currently closed at the end for works, is not flat, and may be crowded. The walk to the upper town is closer to 30 minutes, and adjacent street parking is also available.

Dead-end street. We arrived in the late afternoon (5 p.m.) and it was packed. We had to go elsewhere.
Still a dead end due to roadworks. We arrived mid-morning and took the last space (when we returned in the middle of the afternoon, there were plenty). Convenient for visiting Bergamo, but for sleeping it remains a street parking area on a road that is not flat. Allow about 30 minutes on foot to reach the cathedral.
The street is currently a dead end due to roadworks but is wide enough to maneuver. Many free spaces are available at the bottom of the stairs leading to the Città Alta.
