27 Rua Vale Bravo, 2530, Atalaia
Been here?
A quiet cliff-top parking spot reached by taking the left branch of the dirt road towards Praia de Paralta. It offers a superb ocean panorama and space for approximately 2 or 3 campers, with the beach below. There is no shade or service, and the area is exposed to wind. The steep, degraded access can be difficult for long or heavy vehicles, especially when wet.

One of the best places we’ve been to. Really quiet and not overcrowded.
Beautiful view! Easy to get there! Space for two or three campers maximum. We were alone, so it felt a bit too isolated. Better as a couple. No services!
Spectacular place, but BEWARE: long and heavy motorhomes. Ours is 7.5 m and 160 hp, and it struggled to climb the steepest section in the middle. It is better to go to the nearby yellow P, where the road is paved. With a 4x4, enjoy it. Thank you.
A beautiful spot with a great view of Peniche and a wonderful beach directly in front. It was very quiet at night and we felt safe. The sunset, and sunrise, are wonderful here. However, there is a bit of litter, even though there are bins. Otherwise, truly recommended.
Extraordinary view with a beautiful sunset over the sea, lulled by the sound of the waves. Quiet place; come early because the spot fills up.
Spot with a magnificent view but very dusty. Beware of the ants, which are everywhere on the spot.
Amazing view! Easily accessible with our 2WD and trailer, although the weather had been dry. You can get to the beach from here if you are sure-footed.
Very degraded track, difficult to get out. If the ground is wet, only a 4x4 should attempt it. Not recommended.
Great place. Access is a little tricky because the road is sloped, but the reward is at the end of the track. Very, very beautiful elevated view over the ocean, with an unobstructed view of a huge beach. Be careful: in windy conditions the area is very exposed! We were there with a pop-top roof and had to move the van with its rear facing the wind. Everything else is excellent.
Stunning view. The path down requires you to take a mountain-goat course first, and after rain the parking area is a muddy mess, but if you do not mind that, it is fantastic. We were alone with our 7 m camper. We felt very safe with Rex, our 43 kg German Shepherd, with us.
We liked this place, where we were alone at the end of February. In the middle of nature, with no services, of course. If you like the sound of waves, go there! Waking up facing the sea was wonderful.
The place is just a beautiful viewpoint, with tight, uneven parking. If you have time, the view is worth it.
Super quiet place. Only two vans stayed overnight, with the sound of the waves. It is true that a couple of cars arrived late at night, stayed for a while, and left. But we did not feel unsafe. However, there are no services of any kind.
Fantastic place with a spectacular view of the ocean. A small path leads to the beach. To reach the parking area, you have to drive a short stretch of unpaved road downhill.
Beautiful spot for spending a night overlooking the sea. Easy to reach, and walking down for a few minutes takes you to the beach below.
Good spot to overnight, you have to climb down a little to reach the beach but doable for most people. Overall it’s very clean and let’s hope people leave it like that!
Perfect place to sleep, with views and the sound of the sea. Very quiet.
Great view, access to the beach via a path, surfing right below! However, it was very windy during our stay here, so take that into account.
