This free, clean and very quiet public parking area is beside the Feldscheune Isenschippe memorial site. There is no supply or disposal service, but black and blue rubbish bins are available, and the grounds are suitable for walking a dog. It can serve as a quiet one-night stop, but visitors should behave respectfully because of the adjacent memorial.

One night, after quiet reflection and reconsidering our German history, is permitted here.
The place is actually a dream. However, it is not appropriate to spend the night there because of the adjacent memorial site.
The camping spot is free and beautiful. We visited the memorial and then decided, out of respect, to continue our journey. A truly moving and impressive memorial.
Good place to spend the night, BUT anyone who takes advantage of a free night here should in return visit the memorial. It is so important to see it. I think that for a free overnight stay, it is not too much to ask people to learn about the subject.

Completely isolated from the nearest town and absolutely silent. I stayed here for a day and a half without seeing a single person. Everything is perfectly maintained and bins are available. There is not a piece of rubbish anywhere, and it should definitely stay that way. Please remember this so we can continue to be welcome in this parking area.
