Riverside parking, flood risk

Very peaceful and room for maybe up to 10 vans? Very cute bar and food on the quayside. Next to river for walks and rides. Excellent location and very quiet. There are toilets here which were clean and well kept and a place for rubbish.

Great place with the bar and river; a quiet overnight stay with a 6.70-meter motorhome was no problem.

Superb park up by the river in the shade of the trees. 3 pitches for Motorhomes/vans with no services, you need to be self sufficient. You can fish and swim in the river which is very close by. The local bar is worth a visit with good beer at reasonable prices. They do food, but we didn’t eat here. Maximum stay is 48 hours. So peaceful and quiet, make sure you have your insect repellent to hand.

Ideal for motorhomes of all sizes, with easy access. Bar and food are available on site. We watched storks and hawks. Swimming in the river made it a simply perfect place.

fantastic park up. Went swimming in the river. Fantastic food at very bohemian bistro by the river. 100 metres away. We had parked up in Cognac and visited the sites and had a cycle ride and came here for over night chilling and cooling down due to high temperatures.

Nice place, quiet, with good walking and cycling routes along the water. The great thing is the very welcoming guinguette bar, which serves excellent dishes. I recommend it.

Very beautiful place beside the Charente. Large, flat grassy area without barriers, quiet. A guinguette is next door. Good network reception. Many stork nests with their young are visible in the treetops to the right of the parking area. A real joy to see.

Very beautiful place, a delight for nature lovers and casual Sunday athletes: canoeing, cycling, and walking. Your eyes never get a rest.

We spent one night here in early October 2024. Beautiful walk, peaceful. The fishermen did not even wake us. Thank you to the municipality for preserving and maintaining places like this. The little village is quiet, with shops and even a farm parking area where you can spend the night.

Magnificent place, beside the water, in the middle of nature, with a cycle path leading to Saintes or Cognac. Peaceful and serene during the week; perhaps a little busier on weekends. In any case, it makes you want to stay. Thank you, Salignac.
