Beach parking, height barrier

We were not here overnight, although it should be possible without any problems. Calais beach, public toilets, and showers are directly opposite; we used them at night to freshen up.

Attention: parking is prohibited for vehicles over two meters high, in accordance with a municipal order currently in force. A sign is in place on site.

Unfortunately, stopping is now prohibited for vehicles higher than two meters. A little farther ahead, opposite a large parking area, you can park again.

Very quiet, clean, lit, with water and toilets. Level pitches. Other vans present.

Great place for one night. It was quiet because we arrived late at night after the euro tunnel. Toilet was useful in the morning and lots of park facilities for kids.

We stayed here for the majority of the day whilst waiting for our 11pm ferry back to the uk, the beach was great to spend a few hours on and we had a walk around Calais the town hall is definitely worth taking a look at as it is a magnificent building, we felt very safe leaving the van here although the road is fairly busy with traffic, cyclists and pedestrians

Very good night of sleep. One down side , automatic WC closed at 10PM. Saw the police but nobody asked us to move out. Ew did not see any signed about no overnight restriction.

No sign yet, but parking is forbidden from April 1 to October 31. The police let me leave without a fine.

Great place, only for vans because the spaces are not wide. Passing traffic continues until 9 p.m., then it is very quiet. Street lighting. The beach, 20 meters across the road, allows dogs from November 1 to April 30; it has a vast sandy area. Hotels are nearby. Toilets are about 100 meters away but closed in winter.

We stopped here for the night after getting off the tunnel, road noise until around 9pm but only the occasional vehicle after that. Public toilets available near beach these are open at least 8am - 9pm (might open earlier but not sure).

Perfect for an early morning ferry, or maybe a late ferry stopover before driving into France. Quiet after 11pm, just the odd motorbike / car. 10 mins from ferry, nice beach for a walk.

Plenty of street parking, beach view, and clean, easy access to the ferry port, which is ten minutes away. Public toilets are open during the day only. A few cars race around at night.

A good place to sleep before catching an inexpensive early ferry. Directly on the beach, but unfortunately also directly on the road. It was quiet at night, although that was probably due to the bad weather. The toilets could not be opened in the evening or morning, so this is rather inconvenient, and it is just a simple parking area without good services.

Very clean and practical because it is close to the ferry and free toilets nearby, although they are closed at night. It is also visually beautiful, but very windy and, above all, there was a great deal of traffic throughout the night, making it very difficult to sleep.

Facing the sea. Very beautiful view. Quite calm. Free public toilets are available but closed at night. A water point is nearby.

Very convenient! Nice beachside location, very clean toilets, drinking water available between the two toilet cabins, and bins. The recycling bins are at the bottom of the beach stairs. Quiet at night. However, preferably park in front of the unoccupied houses so as not to spoil the residents' view; it would be a shame if we were no longer allowed to park there.
