Easy access, breathtaking view!
Everything has been said, and it is all true. Beautiful shady pine forest. Chaise-Dieu Abbey is a 10-minute walk away. Great!
Superb for a picnic stop, but the cell tower is very close... on the other hand, internet reception is good!
The view is nice, but sleeping at the foot of a cell tower when you know its effects on the body? No thanks.
Quiet place, easy to access, plenty of space... perfect!
Great spot in the middle of nature for a picnic or overnight stay.
Everything has been said. Excellent quiet place, magnificent view and superb sunset. When we slept there, there were only two vans. On site there is a large picnic table and a bench facing the view. No water or toilets, but free public toilets with sinks and fresh water in the town center, very clean, including a very large and practical disabled-accessible one.
Everything has been said! Ideal if you have four-legged companions, very quiet....
Magnificent spot, very quiet, bucolic view with the abbey church in the background, five minutes from the village center. Perfect. Three vans stayed that night; there is plenty of space.
Very beautiful site with a view of the abbey. Very quiet and easy to access. Thank you to the town hall for not banning access. Let us preserve places like this by leaving them clean.
Great view, above the abbey and accessible on foot.
Very beautiful spot, easy to access, quiet and close to Chaise-Dieu Abbey.
Much better than the fire station or the motorhome area.
Really lovely, clean place with plenty of space. You have to adapt, of course, because the ground is uneven among the very shady fir trees. The village is a 15-minute walk away, with restaurants, a grocery store, bakery and local products. There is a motorhome dump station; tokens can be obtained from local shops. We stopped for one night and stayed two days.
Everything has been said in the comments; it is a truly beautiful place.
I confirm that the place is really pleasant and quiet, with a magnificent view, sunset over the surrounding hills in the evening, and a distant view of the abbey and village. A note for those sensitive to radiation: a 4G antenna is installed there.
Very beautiful place. Lovely view of the abbey. You can hear distant traffic in the background, but it is very bearable.
Great place, quiet in a small pine forest. Very beautiful viewpoint. Recommended for nomads and adventurers.
We loved this place: clean, quiet, spacious and safe for children. Really great. Places in nature are truly the best!
Very beautiful spot with a magnificent view. Absolute peace and quiet. A very peaceful night.
