First Camp Ställplats Nora

Okay for visiting Nora for a day/night. First Camp should improve the marking of the spaces.

Boring gravel parking lot! Awnings are prohibited. Simple service building, similar to rest areas along major roads. We booked two nights but left after one! One visit here is enough. I thought First Camp held itself to higher standards!!

A gravel site with green edges. Electricity included, as well as emptying and filling facilities. The check-in machine is broken, so it is better to book online beforehand. Those who do not, like us, need strong nerves and lots of patience! Checking in by phone is annoying, as is the process you are taken through. We could not manage it and were about to leave when a kind Swedish woman helped us! Thank you for that!! But be careful, otherwise you may become a member of a club for €4.35 per month. Not user-friendly! All of this needs improvement! The emptying and filling facilities are next to the site and can only be used with the card provided.

Gravel site with unnumbered pitches in a good location in Nora. When we arrived, the barrier machine was broken. An employee who happened to be there explained that booking and payment were possible through the First Camp website. The code for the box containing magnetic cards for the barrier, toilets and disposal facilities arrived by text message and email. No showers available—very basic toilet facilities.

It’s just a fenced of parking lot with no charm whatsoever. Complicated app that didn’t work at the time we wanted to book a pitch. Had to try to get help from the camp site which was not of any help whatsoever. It’s a shame that Nora town doesn’t have a more welcoming attitude towards campervan visitors.

The site is fine, with 16A electricity for air conditioning or heating. The sanitary facilities were okay. It is a town site, so there are always some people without exhaust systems, and the adjacent sports field is busy, but that is how it should be. The magnetic barrier card is in a box; after paying on First Camp, you receive the code. Inside are about 20 cards.

Simple pitch. It was somewhat noisy because of the road, but I don't think it is always like that. The service facilities are fine. The site is ideally located for visiting the beautiful town or walking along the river.

The instructions for entering are not available in Italian, so getting in was unfortunately very complicated. After check-in, which took 40 minutes to figure out, we used the app to obtain a card needed for the toilets, water and barrier. Nothing special for 230 kronor. Electrical posts are available.

Parking on a gravel lot with lots of weeds. 10A electricity included. Toilets are rest-area standard; do not expect too much... Check-in worked fine, and I paid by card at the automatic entrance.

Payment by card at the machine, guided through a screen menu. The receipt contains the code for the metal cabinet holding the card system for the barrier and service building. Somewhat complicated, but it works.

I had to go to the campsite 1 km away to pay for the entry card. I arrived at 5:18 p.m.; they closed at 5. GoMarina no longer works.

As previously described, the service post is broken. A space with electricity is available, but there are no services.
