9 Via Siccheria Quattro Camere, 90135, Palermo
Been here?
A large free parking area near Palermo's Capuchin Catacombs and the city centre, with broad, easy access and space for vehicles of all sizes. The Catacombs are about 400 m away, while the centre is roughly 2 km or 25-30 minutes on foot; a kiosk and bus 124 are also available. The area is lit and can feel safe, but dirt, animal waste and containers are present. Night-time noise from young people and vehicles is variable, sometimes continuing until 1:00.

Spent three nights here without any problems, just a 30-minute walk to the center. Great!
Stayed here more than a few nights, so grateful for the convenience, but it is a gathering ground for young noisy kids. They’re having fun, but until 1:00 in the morning is a pain in the butt. So be warned. It’s been 50/50. Some nights you’ve lucky. Some nights not…
A huge, free parking area suitable for motorhomes of all sizes. The approach via wide roads is also easy. We spent three nights here and could not sleep on any of them. At night, young people drove into the parking lot with their cars, honking loudly, tires screeching, shouting and yelling, with extremely loud music. And they stayed. We were unlucky.
Very good parking for people who do not want to use paid spots. Off-season, the parking lot is 80% empty, well lit, with minimal traffic around, and the center is about a 25-minute walk away. There are containers nearby, but be aware that garbage trucks come every night for them. Occasionally someone with a dog walks through the parking lot; otherwise it is quiet. Catacombe dei Cappuccini is nearby—recommended!
It's definitely an okay spot! But be aware were you step your feet... it's dog and cat poop pretty much everywhere. There are some stray cats living there and the locals like to take their dogs to the lot.
Lots of space, lit and suitable for day and night. For a place in the middle of the city, it is quite quiet, and you can easily walk to the center. There is a small snack bar right at the entrance.
Surprisingly empty, almost eerie. In any case, very convenient for parking during the day if you are visiting the Castello della Zisa. Everything went well.
