Quiet residential site, loud parties

Even with earplugs, you cannot sleep. When there is a party in the adjacent youth center, the music is unbearably loud. You cannot open a window in the heat either. Such a shame for an otherwise great place.✦Translating

I have been here several times for work. The site is great but unfortunately always quite full. It is sufficient for my purposes. Everything is available and works properly, which is unfortunately rare at free sites. I do not hear any bass during the week, and even if I did, the site is free. A motorhome is not a hotel, after all. You know that beforehand.✦Translating

The site is well maintained and vehicles are parked one behind another. Trouble-free service facilities. We slept wonderfully with earplugs, and we also liked Mellrichstadt.✦Translating

As has been written several times, a lovely site. The already-mentioned booming bass from the nearby youth center really is annoying until well after midnight, even past 5 a.m. It was Saturday, so perhaps it is not like this every day.✦Translating

We stayed here overnight and really liked the clean, well-kept site. The town is pretty and there are good places to eat. The free information pack about Mellrichstadt and the Rhön is excellent and thoughtfully put together. You can leave a donation in the envelope; I am happy to do so and hope many others will too. We spent a lovely day here strolling through the town and a quiet night. Water and waste services, as well as rubbish disposal, are perfect. Rewe, Lidl and others are quickly reachable on foot. Several hiking routes start directly at the site, which was perfect for us with our dog. Thanks to the town for this free parking area. It seems to be busy most of the time; we were lucky because another camper left.✦Translating

The site is good: water, electricity, wastewater, toilet emptying and rubbish are all available. It is well lit and not far from the town or Rewe. You can also go for pleasant walks or bike rides. It is quiet at night.✦Translating

Deafening music with heavy bass played all night until 8 a.m. in the barracks directly next door. Sleeping without earplugs was impossible. The site itself is nicely laid out. Electricity and fresh water are available for a fee. Disposal is free, including cassette rinsing.✦Translating

Nicely laid out. You cannot hear the train. However, you can hear cars, tractors, mopeds and everything else that makes noise. Apparently nobody has heard of four-stroke engines, especially among the mopeds. Every few minutes you are enveloped in two-stroke fumes. At 5:20 a.m., a racing tractor ended my sleep. I will not return.
