Been here?
Siesartis is a natural forest campsite directly beside a lake, with large pitches among the trees. Recent facilities include a clean pit toilet, a large shelter with electricity and light, fire places, and direct lake access via a large jetty. The site is peaceful in good weather, but rear pitches are difficult to reach because of rough, potholed tracks and low branches. Access can be unsuitable for large motorhomes.

Great site in the woods directly by the lake. Okay, perhaps less pleasant in the rain, but excellent in good weather. Large pitches, clean composting toilet, large shelter with electricity and light. Above all, direct access to the lake via a large jetty. If conditions are right, you can also use a cool sauna boat. The approach is somewhat adventurous—not suitable for lowered vehicles, very long overhangs, or very large motorhomes.Translating
Everything looked rather deserted when I was there. Getting there with a fully integrated motorhome is an ordeal. Through the forest, where you think nothing else is coming. I drove back.Translating
Basically, the pitches are very beautiful; they are directly by the lake with access to the water and in the forest. Access to the rear pitches is really difficult; the roads are badly rutted and full of potholes. Low-hanging branches make passage harder. It may be fine for cars, but with a panel van it is borderline!Translating
excellent campsite. they have private pitches as well as a camper area with some pitches. we stayed in pitch No2 in camper area and it was just perfect, calm neighbours, no mosquitos, and a fireplace! sanitary facilities are very much basic though
We were here for four days at the beginning of August. We were almost alone on the basic nature campsite, with no sanitary infrastructure apart from pit toilets. Some pitches have electricity connections. It is directly on a beautiful lake. There are fire pits, firewood, and beautiful jetties to relax on by the shore. Everything is in a large forested area by the lake. Nature and peace—you can wonderfully unwind. The lake is nice for swimming. Tip: rent pitch number 12. Pitches 18 and 19 are also great. We stayed with our 6.40-meter motorhome on number 12, directly on the lakeshore, with a private jetty belonging to the pitch. It really cannot get better! Five stars!Translating
It was quite okay; apart from one other camper, we were completely alone.Translating
