Been here?
The Hen's Dens is a small, peaceful orchard campsite for tents and small vans or Sprinter-type vans, with pitches among apple trees and views over the valley. Recent stays found clean toilets and showers, plus a microwave, kettle and washing machine; some pitches were newly excavated, bare and uneven. The site has an honesty shop with fresh apple juice, and bicycles can reach a beach with a café in 10 minutes. Electric hookups are available on 5 pitches.

Beautiful, idyllic site. We arrived without a reservation and were still able to stay. Friendly owner, clean toilets and showers. There is also a microwave, kettle and washing machine. In just 10 minutes, we cycled to a lovely beach with a café and pub. Simply beautiful.
Lovely owner. Pitches among the apple orchard. Honesty shop with fresh apple juice. Great facilities and one of the best campsite showers ever.
Spent a night here with my dog. What a fantastic little idyll! When I called, the owner said I was welcome but discounted the fee because he was working on the existing pitches and adding a few more—lovely spacious terraces overlooking the valley within the orchard. The owner is super friendly, local produce is for sale, and the modern facilities are lovely. You couldn't ask for more. Highly recommended!
Great place, open all year, with five nice pitches nestled among the apple trees for vans, with electric hookups. There is a toilet block and outdoor kitchen with a kettle, toaster, fridge, washing machine, and more. Everything is very well maintained and clean.
Boring but good for parking. Afterward, the roads get narrower and narrower…
