3 Am Werl, 33378, Rheda-Wiedenbrück
Been here?
This free, large parking area offers fresh-water, gray-water and toilet disposal, with hose or bucket required for some services. Water costs 0,10€ for 10L, while gray and black water disposal is free; public restrooms at the town hall are open 24/7. A gas station, Netto, café and Rheda Castle, less than a kilometer away, are nearby. Traffic can be loud, cars sometimes block the motorhome spaces, and nighttime drifting has been reported.

Two stars for providing the site, including supply and disposal services! Otherwise, the black tire marks on the asphalt made us leave immediately! From experience…
The site is okay, but the local police should ensure that cars do not occupy the motorhome spaces or block the disposal area. In addition, lowlifes regularly drift around the parking area at night in antisocial cars. Citizens should be able to expect at least a little service from their police force!!!
Great public parking with basic services and public outdoor pool next to it. Lots of space to park and walking distance to the bars, farmacy and shops.
Thanks to Rheda-Wiedenbrück for this great free offer! Even though the main road is a racetrack for many drivers, at the back of the site you can park quietly and in the shade under the trees in summer. Within walking distance are the beautiful palace gardens, a friendly gas station with a toilet, and the pedestrian zone with a bakery and a 24/7 self-service shop.
Noisy. Currently closed until June 14, 2026 due to the Schützenfest.
It's great that the city provides free motorhome pitches. It's just a shame that so many car drivers cannot read signs, even when someone is standing at the disposal station. One star because the site is free.
Quiet and peaceful parking area in the town center. Trash bins; free gray- and black-water service; fresh water available for an additional fee.
€0.10 for 10 liters of water and toilet cleaning :-)
Good place to stop briefly or sleep while passing through.
Excellent, everything is available as described, and you can stay for free as well. Some people should take this as an example. Either the toilet disposal is broken or there is no electricity despite it being advertised. Many thanks to the city of Reda—great praise to you.
The pitch is free, but that's about all. It is more like a marked section of the large parking lot. No markings; you just park somehow. Not really recommended.
Free site as described. Supply and disposal work. Many thanks to the city.
Free parking area, currently half occupied by a circus, but you can manage. Trash bins and a glass container are available. A beautifully maintained palace complex with gardens is across the road. Water can be purchased in 10-liter increments for 10 cents.
I am here for the second time, and once again there is a circus. There is still room.
Very good motorhome site, with a nice restaurant nearby! Perfect for a stopover—what more could you want?
The site is not recommended. At 2 a.m., idiots think they should drift and do donuts in their 400-horsepower cars. We don't need the smell or loud engines. During football matches, cars block you in, and people also park between the motorhomes. Gray-water disposal is only possible with a hose or bucket. The Sauerland Camper 607.
Great site, centrally located and quiet at night. Thanks to the city.
Beautiful site, with everything you need. Disposal is even free. Beautiful parks and a palace nearby, plus a historic old town worth seeing. Thanks to the city. We would gladly return.
Beautiful site! Free disposal. Thanks to the operator.
Large parking area with lots of activity until late at night. Free, with a disposal station when operational. Many restaurants and snack bars within walking distance.
Large free parking area very close to the palace. But that was all there was worth seeing! The town is simply bleak, though Road House has the best spare ribs!
Quiet, free parking area by the outdoor pool. The old town, palace, and park are nearby. As of August 24, 2025: supply and disposal work. Also right by the site is Road House—its spare ribs are highly recommended.
Free, level area with easy access. Water filling and disposal available (water costs 10 cents per 10 liters; accepts 10-, 20-, and 50-cent coins and €1 coins). Shared parking with cars, but a spacious motorhome area. We arrived at 8:00 p.m. and left at 7:30 a.m.; there were only four or five cars.
