Been here?
A small motorhome area in the valley village of Mernes, suitable for overnight stays. Water, electricity and wastewater disposal are available, with electricity requiring 50c coins. The area is generally quiet after 23:00, but agricultural vehicles can be noisy in the morning, and the nearby fire station may sound alarms. Summer weekend conversations and the August Kirchweihe can be very loud.

Pleasant area for spending the night. Bring 50-cent coins for electricity if you need it. Also be aware that the fire station is right next door. We arrived in the dark; there was an alarm reminder while we were there and we wondered what was happening.
Lovely little place, actually in Mernes. We were here in late June on our own.
Great place! Very reasonable prices, free, wastewater, disposal, and it’s in a beautiful little valley village, after some great drive through the mountain forest :-)
Nice site. Electricity and waste disposal are available. Tables and benches are also provided. One star deducted because agricultural vehicles make it somewhat noisy in the mornings. During the church festival in August, it is unbearably loud until 4 a.m. Either join in or go on a different date.
Quiet site after 11 p.m. Until then, on summer weekends, conversations from the balcony of a local restaurant can be disturbing—but they don’t have to be. However, if training is taking place at the motocross track, the day is ruined. It is quiet again at night.
