This wild mountain spot is reached by a well-maintained track, followed by a small steep slope, and lies 30 minutes from Carbonia. Recent conditions include mud and large stones, making it unsuitable for large vans or motorhomes, although 4x4 is not required. The direct sleeping area has no view because of high hedges, while some spots earlier along the track offer views. The location is very calm.

Not recommended in winter! Everything is muddy, both the approach and the parking area. Ground clearance is required because large and very large stones are scattered everywhere. Not suitable for large vans or motorhomes. The actual sleeping spot has no view at all, with many tall hedges.
Beautiful view and sunset. No 4x4 is necessary, but you should be used to driving over rocks and not afraid of getting a few scratches on the bodywork. Very quiet, although I think some spots at the beginning of the track also offer beautiful views without going so far. Do not follow Google Maps; come via the small unlisted track from the east.
Very beautiful view below the forest ranger's station.
