Lakeside parking, late-night noise

The place is fine, but unfortunately, even though it was a weekday, at midnight several cars came to play music at full volume. Very noisy. There are only 4 spaces, and it is free. You can cycle around the lake using a mountain bike or road bike.✦Translating

A really good pitch that offers everything you need. You can hike, bike, swim, climb, and more. What is really annoying, though, is the cars late into the night and early in the morning; cars are constantly driving past here. It is extremely annoying ;-(✦Translating

This is a lovely place to spend the night, the locals did arrive early for dog walks and cycles but didn’t disturb us or spoil the stay. Please note the toilets are located in the lookout tower so are only open when the business located there are, typically 10am to 6pm, later at the weekend until the restaurant closes which was 10:30pm the Friday we stayed.

Nice place at first glance, shared with cars, but we had a bad night because of the incessant stream of cars, conversations, slamming doors and engines running. I don't know whether the locals are insomniacs or if it was because of the weekend, but it was a terrible night. Bring earplugs or flee this un restful place. Four official camper spaces. We were lucky; one space was free. You are on the edge of the forest and the dam. From here you can walk, cycle, see the lion, sit on a terrace, eat delicious food, and enjoy plenty of activities. The electrical hookup was closed, and there are no facilities, but there are toilets at the restaurants. Quiet place. The parking lot remains illuminated at night. After the last restaurant visitors left, it was quiet. We had no need for water or electricity, so I cannot confirm whether these are available.✦Translating

Excellent quiet place. Toilets are open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekends, on the second floor of the tower. With our van, we parked at the back of the parking lot in a vehicle space. Overnight parking is tolerated.✦Translating

We stayed here for one night. Unfortunately, all spaces were occupied, but after asking, we were able to park on the edge behind them. There was no electricity in February; the box was locked with a chain. We could use the toilets in the tower free of charge. The food in the tower restaurant was also excellent.✦Translating

Beautiful place and free, including electricity! We arrived around 1:30 p.m. and three of the four spaces were still free; another small camper van arrived just after us. Around 5 p.m., three more arrived, so if you arrive on time there really can be space, even on a Friday!✦Translating

Full by 5 p.m., including one long-term occupant. Red-and-white ribbons along the verge. We stayed in the parking lot; we were not the only ones. Youths hanging around all evening and cars racing. Cars also driving laps in the morning. Forest path and beautiful view, but if you want real peace, don't come here. Toilets open only during the day; plenty of rubbish bins, although unfortunately people still dump rubbish beside them. What a shame!✦Translating

Arrived at 13;30, already full. They should apply a maximum of 24h. Possible to park next to it, max 3 campers. Parking on parking lots not allowed, there are signs everywhere

Beautiful place, unfortunately only 4 pitches plus three squeezed along the edge without electricity. Every gap is filled again within seconds. You need luck and must be self-sufficient. But it was wonderfully quiet, and the reservoir is worth a walk. There is a restaurant at the top of the observation tower, and a treetop climbing park is also here.✦Translating

Great place for an overnight & more stay with a number of good hikes to choose from. 1 place out of 4 was free when we came, free electricity and very quite.

4 stars because there are too few places. When we arrived, there were already 7 campers. We took the risk and parked in the car spaces. Our van fits perfectly in a parking space. In the morning, a place became available and we moved.✦Translating

I visited here on three occasions in September at various times of the day and each time it was full to capacity. I had to move on each time. I'm giving it four stars though, because at that rate, it must be pretty good!

There are 4 places, but only two are close to the electric hookup. You need a very long extension cable to connect places 3 and 4. The spot fills up quickly—two more vans arrived late and parked in the bus area. The security guards asked them to move early in the morning. The toilets are on floors two and zero of the tower, open during the day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.✦Translating

Small, signposted, free parking area with 4 paved pitches in a great setting and near the panoramic tower, which can be visited free of charge; motorhomes are prohibited in the other parking areas; naturally busy during the day, but very quiet at night and in the morning; free electricity connection; toilets available during opening hours.

Indeed, there are only four places here, and many signs prohibiting motorhomes elsewhere.

Very beautiful place with 4 free electric hookups. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the 4 diagonal spaces were already occupied and a long van was parked alongside. We decided to do the same and park behind that van, and luckily we were also able to connect because some vans did not want to use the electricity. Toilets at the entrance to the restaurant.

I arrived at 5 PM and was lucky to grab the last spot! The plots are spacious with free electricity. There’s a large reservoir perfect for cycling and jogging, plus a tall viewing tower offering great views and a treetop climbing course. Peaceful at night. Would be 5 stars if water/toilet facilities were available—but for a free site, it’s hard to complain!

Only 4 spots, and last night more than 10 campers were parked under prohibition signs. But everyone could enjoy the car race until 1:30 am…

Despite the comments saying it is overcrowded (I hate that negative expression), I took the risk of staying there yesterday. The 4 places were occupied and 2 motorhomes were parked in double rows. I positioned myself at the end of the line with my phone number in case someone needed to reach me. We had time to do the Léo trail and have a drink at the brasserie, but on our return there was still no space, so we left.

Good place for hikes, bikes and the dam. 4 free electric hookups, 4 dedicated van places but room for 3 or 4 more by those. I preferred the others as more shaded. Flat. Toilets only 10-6. Free WiFi around the buildings. Quiet at night.
