Central daytime parking close to Strasbourg’s old town, with some free spaces for vans available on Sundays. The old town is about 5 minutes away on foot, and trees provide shade. Finding a suitable space may depend on luck.

On Sundays, there are some free pitches available for vans (Nugget, VW Bus, etc.).
Perfect spot, centrally located.
The positive aspect is that the parking area is very central and our camper, including trailer, was parked without any problems. However, parking is limited to 4 hours and costs €35. Moreover, on a sunny and bright day, someone tried to steal our bicycles. They were broken off the rack and the lock was attacked with an angle grinder.
Parking on a side street, very close to the old town. You need to be lucky, though… manageable with a motorhome of 6.5 m.
Five minutes on foot to the old town. The parking area is easy to access and shaded all day thanks to the trees.
Seven minutes on foot to the center.
