Parkeringsvägen, 125 30, Älvsjö
Been here?
Älvsjö, Parkeringsvägen is a large paved parking area at the exhibition center, used for motorhomes when no trade fairs are taking place, with vehicles up to 13 meters allowed. Portable toilets and showers are available, along with chemical-toilet disposal and fresh water, but greywater disposal is lacking. The metro station is about 1.2 km away; T43 runs every 20 minutes for 3 stops to the center. Motorcycle noise can be extremely loud late at night, although conditions vary.

Ideal for visiting the city center. Major drawback: the noise. We are not sensitive to noise and the main road is completely fine for us, but the noise from motorcycle show-offs is really extreme. Therefore, we cannot recommend this site.
This is a parking area at an exhibition center with a portable toilet block and a shower unit. You can empty the chemical toilet and take on fresh water. Suitable for cycling into the city. Unfortunately, motorcyclists use the area to rev their engines at full throttle. Reception had not heard so far that this bothered anyone... perhaps nobody had said anything?!
A simple asphalt parking area, somewhat steep in places but very spacious. Clean, functional toilets. The only drawback is the nighttime motorcyclists. Excellent for visiting the city.
Functional site with good connections to central Stockholm. But!!! Incredibly and unbelievably noisy because of large numbers of motorcyclists. We stayed here from July 14 to 16 and were unlucky that these idiots put on their spectacle directly in front of the site every night at 1:45 a.m. Madness!!!
Convenient because the station is a 10-minute walk away, followed by a 15-minute train ride to the center of Stockholm. Toilets and showers are in portable units. Simple but adequate and clean, and the pitches are large. However, because the parking area is large and empty, you may, as we did, experience an urban motorcycle rodeo: motorcycles circling without safety barriers until midnight or even 1 a.m.
Hours of deafening noise from an incredible number of motorcycles gathering here, racing until well after midnight and revving their engines. Unbelievable! Terrible! Extremely loud! We therefore cannot recommend the site!
Cannot recommend this place due to the unbelievable noise caused by the people revving their motorcycles and circling the area for hours until late at night (on a Tuesday night). Based on other reviews it sounds like they're not there every day, but if you're unlucky like us, don't expect much sleep.
A large paved parking area with plenty of space. It’s a convenient place to stay, although you have to walk around the entire Stockholm Mässan to reach the train station. Some of the parking spaces are on a slope, so you may need leveling blocks. There are portable festival toilets on site, which were clean and perfectly adequate. The area is quiet, making it a good option for an overnight stop.
We spent two quiet and safe nights. The disadvantages are the lack of greywater disposal and glass recycling.
Well, it's a parking lot. So it ain't pretty. It's also relatively expensive (still cheap). But it's close to a train station that will bring you into the city in about 15mins. The toilets are clean, the showers are relatively clean. They light from the parking lot is usually off during the night. There is a dump for your chemical toilet and fresh water but no grey water dump.
Site with easy access to the train into the city. Toilet and shower are okay, though there is not always hot water. Unfortunately, there is a motorcycle training track right next to it, and they ride until 10 p.m.
Stayed 3 nights. Everybody has different aspirations with regard to large city parking. Big car park by exhibition centre, large plots with electric. Facilities basic but clean, great location with trains to Stockholm City every ten minutes, with connection to the rest of the city close by. Little bit of road noise, but that’s what you get in any city, don’t expect tranquility. Great location.
Stayed 3 nights. Facilities okay; basically a large parking area with a rudimentary toilet and shower block. Seems a bit expensive for what it is. 10 minute walk to the train station and a 10 to 15 minute ride into the centre of town. motorcycle group set up an obstacle course in the parking lot next door. Motorbikes going up and down from about 5 pm to 11 pm every bloody night. Happy to leave.
The exhibition grounds are above Stockholm, so an e-bike should be used. We paid SEK 450 including electricity and people. The showers and toilets are in containers and therefore everything is too primitive. The chemical toilet can be emptied, but not greywater. The price of SEK 450 is too high for this site. The city center can be reached by bicycle in 30 minutes.
This is a decent place if you want to be close to public transport. Toilets and showers were clean, but there was no way to empty the greywater tank. It’s seasonal and located in a parking lot near a major road, so bear that in mind. Therefore, the price is high, but I guess the rather central location hikes the price. Overall, the night was fine, so I’m still satisfied.
An excellent alternative to the other motorhome areas, which are always full. Ten minutes on foot to the train station, which takes you to the center in four stops. The showers are good. Fresh water available. Blackwater disposal available. No greywater disposal. A little noisy if parked near the road.
The parking lot was closed.
Only available during the summer months, and parking was also prohibited.
Unfortunately, it was not open.
Apparently it is a motorhome site until September, because when we arrived there was nothing left. We have a motorhome and are self-sufficient for a few days, so we parked it and registered using the Parkster app. It remains a superb location from which to visit the city. If you have the Parkster app, look up how to get it working for Sweden. It is simple.
We give it a two because the shower area is very dirty—dirty because they do not scrub the shower floors with cleaning products—and there was nowhere to put the soap, nowhere to place a toiletry bag, and no bench to make the shower experience even slightly pleasant. Those of us with motorhomes only stop to shower and… we found this.
Very convenient for visiting Stockholm: 10 minutes to the train station, an asphalt site, toilets and showers included and clean. Please check whether there is an exhibition, because the site is unavailable then. Recommended for one night.
Parking with lighting and minimal facilities, near the metro 800 m away, SEK 440 with electricity. Attention: it closes tomorrow, August 20, at the end of the season. There is a paid car park near the Scandic hotel, SEK 86, with EasyPark.
Asphalt parking area with spacious pitches beside a main road, noisy from early morning but quiet at night. The train station is a 10-minute walk away, followed by another 10 minutes by train to the city center. Overall, very convenient. Hot showers, toilets, fresh water, and free blackwater disposal. No greywater disposal. SEK 440 including electricity.
We booked online; check-in was uncomplicated. Yes, it is noisy because of the construction site, and the container showers and toilets are also somewhat limited. But it is still an exhibition center, the pitches are large, and the walk to the station takes about 10 minutes. We stayed two nights and found it really good for visiting Stockholm. We would come back.
For two nights without electricity, €71. There is no greywater disposal. Convenient showers and toilets. The shower water was extremely hot. A receptionist, a young woman, speaks Italian and is very helpful. Convenient for visiting the city, with the train station about 800 m away and three stops to the center.
3stars for location and service , 2 deducted because of the noise , close to a road where loud motor cycles fly past . However it’s a good safe place to leave the car and visit Stockholm . Close to public transport
