The place was beautiful, but we had concerns because of some comments and initially drove farther down. There was an abandoned motorhome there and one with a naked woman, which made it even creepier, so we came here. We felt safe enough. In the morning it was wonderfully beautiful to wake up by the river. You can also go down and swim in the river, but it is full of clay, so you slip easily, and it is not deep.
An individual wanders near the motorhome as soon as the sun goes down. There was no other car or vehicle nearby. Even though I was inside and he had seen me, he covered himself with his hood and crouched near the driver's side, taking something with his backpack. I left immediately. Go somewhere else.
At around 5 p.m., when it was already dark, someone began walking around the motorhome and did not leave despite me turning on the lights. I do not know what he intended to do, but he behaved in a very strange and suspicious way. Be careful!!
nice and quite place. but there is no shadow which makes it quite hot. but the river makes up for that. you will see a bit of stones and it seems that there is no path. but continue on keeing right tru the bushes folowing the stones and you will end up at the river in 2 min
Thieves! While we were sleeping, we were woken by a slight creaking. I told my wife there was nothing, but someone was at the luggage rack: the aluminum box with chairs, fishing gear, and other things. After a few minutes, we started the vehicle and the person fled by bicycle at 3 a.m. The box had been opened and everything was gone! What did we learn? My wife has good hearing, and I do not.
Lovely place right by the river. We slept well and it was very quiet at night. First and best parking spot by the river. However, there is no shade.
The place itself is nice, but it is very busy, with lots of people walking past—walkers with or without dogs, cyclists, anglers, and so on—as well as many campers and cars looking for a pitch.
Great view and very peaceful, with lots of space. A little farther ahead there is a large parking area offering covered tables, a book-sharing cabinet, a barbecue, and a sink. Unfortunately, it is still relatively busy, with about four campers every night, and many flies in the morning.
Basically a nice parking area, but it smelled of feces and was probably full of flies for that reason. We drove on after 30 minutes.
Very peaceful place with plenty of space. Despite the mosquitoes, we had a good night's sleep.
Various pitches; we arrived early and got a spot “directly” by the water. However, you should be fit enough to actually get down to the river. The Carabinieri drove past and said nothing. It feels safe!
