Playground parking, occasional late noise

We took refuge in this parking area overnight because it was extremely windy at the stadium parking area. Despite the rain, there was a lot of noise from young people partying until 3 a.m. A flat parking area; the toilets were out of service. A useful fallback.✦Translating

We arrived here but there were no other motorhomes, which seemed suspicious, so we decided not to stay. There are unhappy local reviews of the children’s park on Google Maps, and after seeing their pictures it makes sense. We should respect places like this more, otherwise we will soon be banned everywhere.✦Translating

We slept in this parking area from Thursday to Friday. Quiet night with four other motorhomes. I felt safe.✦Translating

Felt very safe and lots of space when we first arrived. 1 or 2 other campers were present as well. Unfortunately, we were disturbed by extremely loud music, shouting and singing at around 2am by a nearby van, full of younger people, that arrived very late. After half an hour, we left to find somewhere else to stay.

More than a place to rest, it is a children’s recreation area. Very noisy, especially from Thursday to Sunday, with more commotion on Fridays and Saturdays. If you want to rest, this would not be the place to choose, in my opinion. The place is very beautiful, but the children’s shouting and parents’ conversations right next to the motorhomes are a shame. They tried to open my motorhome, and the parents did not come to apologize until I got out.✦Translating

At the end of September it was deserted. As soon as we arrived, two suspicious-looking cars appeared, along with a man on a bicycle—who knows what they were doing, all three at 10:30 p.m. on a working Tuesday. We started up and left as soon as we saw the situation. It is near a recycling center, an area that normally attracts undesirable people. Perhaps it is more welcoming during the day and in high season.✦Translating

Great quiet night at park. Friendly locals. Working selfcleaning toilet. Coin payment is blocked with a screw so you need to use magnetic bank card below. Not possible to use coins.

After trying both the port industrial area, which seemed dangerous, and Calle Marino Fernández-Fontecha, where the area was full and fines were being issued on the opposite street, we ended up in this very quiet parking area, which was perfect for spending the night. There are also public toilets, which we did not use.

After all the restrictions on visiting the city and the small authorized motorhome area, we found this place, which is quiet and peaceful at night. It is a little far from the center, but buses take you there, or you can walk for a while. There is a children’s park opposite.

Peaceful place with tables, fountains, a children’s playground, and a public self-cleaning toilet for 30 cents. I recommend it.

Easy access and a comfortable stay. There are fountains, a children’s playground, picnic tables, and a spacious toilet cubicle that self-cleans when it closes. We spent two very peaceful nights. There is a nearby bus stop and a restaurant I did not try. I recommend it!
