A mostly flat parking area within the ring road, with another large but very sloping space beyond the road. It is quiet after dark, with mountain views, sunsets, starry skies and goats nearby, though few places are level and some areas may smell of urine. The bar appears to be temporarily closed, so its daytime bathrooms and other services may currently be unavailable. A generator has recently operated into the evening, and the approach requires care for larger vehicles.

Beautiful view and quiet at night. There are goats. Be careful, some areas may smell of urine. Few flat places.
Very good spot, little traffic and none after 11 p.m. Several flat places. We spent the night there; there were two other vans with us. Perfect place to watch the sunset from the rocks. Waking up to a magnificent view and having breakfast with the goats.
Excellent view, the car park was completely empty and the bar appears to be temporarily closed on Google Maps. The road is very beautiful, and we arrived in the evening around 10 p.m. with no traffic. We have a 6x2 van, so caution is needed.
The place is very suitable, even for our 8.5-ton truck. Good views to the east and a magnificent sunset from the other side of the road. There is a generator that ran from 8 p.m. until 12:30 a.m. I do not know whether this happens every day. If you bring a large vehicle, pay attention to the bus schedules; theoretically, from 9:30 to 1 p.m. they can go down toward the cove, and from 1:30 to 3 p.m. they go up.
Best spot of the week, wonderfully peaceful, with a starry sky and mountain views. We were six vans, but well spaced apart. The only downside was a generator rumbling away, but it must have stopped around midnight and did not prevent us from falling asleep or having a lovely evening.

No noise in March, but be careful where you park because the shop opened at 9am and we were in the way. Can be a windy spot but feels quite isolated in the night with spectacular views

Until sunset it is very busy; afterward it is quiet, and it is cool for sleeping. The people are a little dirty.
Quiet and safe place. There is some traffic until sunset, then nothing. You will be alone with the goats and a starry sky. Incredible sunset on one side and beautiful sunrise on the other. What more could you want?
We arrived around 7 p.m. and did not encounter much traffic. It has beautiful views and an incredible sunset; the sunrise is not bad either. There is plenty of space, the little snack bar is closed, which is a shame, and at night you can see lots of stars. A peaceful place, and leaving early avoids the traffic.

Spectacular mountain views. Relatively flat parking area directly beside the road. In February it was easy to find a spot.
Fantastic place. Until around sunset there were still cars around. After sunset, no traffic at all. We stayed alone in the middle all night. The bar is closed in winter, but the generator switched on. It was barely audible.
