A wonderfully beautiful, peaceful place. The toll road costs 70 NOK, is worth it, and is paid via youpark.no. We had no mosquitoes, only flies, which were not bothersome. If you need peace and love nature, this is the right place.
We got stuck in the snow 20 minutes from the spot and unfortunately had to turn back. Several cars had stopped before this road. Maybe next time? However, we did not find anywhere to pay the 70 Norwegian kroner, although the cameras were clearly there.
The road costs 70 kroner and is monitored by camera. Besides the listed point, there are many other parking spots. However, the mountain is over 1,000 meters higher, so it is considerably colder than in the valley. Accordingly, the approach is very hilly and involves almost 20 minutes on a gravel road.
Fantastic place, quiet and peaceful.
If you want a great view and peace and quiet, this is exactly the right place. It is a private road that must be paid for, but it is worth it. Watch out for the sheep and bring mosquito spray.
