6 An der Neuen Schleuse, 27570, Bremerhaven
Been here?
A level motorhome parking area near Bremerhaven city centre, with spaces that are easy to choose and suitable for exploring the city. Parking costs 20 euros, with electricity and waste services available. The site is quiet at night, although the drinking-water facility can be unreliable. Older sanitary facilities are available and generally clean, while the centre is about 1 km away.

We were satisfied, checked in easily, and could even choose a pitch. Everything was tidy and there was enough space. Great starting point for sightseeing in this wonderful city. There are also good opportunities to walk the dogs directly from the site. We will come again on our next visit.Translating
Reasonable motorhome site, parking on gravel. The manager tries to help wherever possible. The drinking-water facility is faulty; after trying 20 times, we finally got water. The toilet building is filthy, but as a motorhome traveler you have facilities on board and therefore do not need it.Translating
Good place for exploring the city, separated by a hedge between the pitches. Check-in is easy at the machine, and you can choose an available pitch yourself. Sanitary facilities are old but clean; there is no privacy when showering. €20 for the pitch is okay. Electricity and water cost extra.Translating
Well, I have been staying here from time to time for 10 years. It keeps getting more expensive and the service keeps decreasing. Now there is a data-harvesting payment machine, and it is no longer for 24 hours but only until noon the next day. The showers have been identical for 10 years. They work for €1 per 7 minutes, which is sufficient. But you pay extra for everything. Electricity costs €0.70 per kWh. Bremerhaven could renovate something for once! Location is not everything!Translating
If the check-in machine is working, it may show you an available pitch and, if the machine is feeling cooperative, you can even book it. Advance information about occupancy is nonexistent. Why all the personal data? We are staying one night and goodbye.Translating
Everything is fine, gladly again. The sanitary facilities are somewhat outdated. Currently there is only an outdoor washing-up sink; another sink would be nice.Translating
Central motorhome site. Friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed using the bread-roll service. There is only one washing-up sink; one or two more would be welcome. The toilets and showers, only two of each, are old, practical, and clean. Nevertheless, renovation is needed here.Translating
Nice site, very close to the center, with bread-roll service and a few cold drinks available. Friendly welcome included! Facilities for water and waste disposal are available, as are clean showers and toilets. Unfortunately, there is only one washing-up facility. One or two more taps for collecting water would be useful. Otherwise, excellent.Translating
€18 for fixed hours and €0.70 per kWh are too expensive. If it were not for the excellent on-site service, I would remove this site from my list.Translating
The motorhome site is okay, but you need to know that you must check out by noon! We arrived at 12:05 a.m. and wanted to do some sightseeing during the day. We only saw the checkout information in the booking confirmation. Fortunately, the staff member in charge was very understanding, and we were allowed to stay until 6 p.m. without paying for another day.Translating
The site used to be great, with an easy-to-use machine and a very friendly site manager. Now there is a new machine where you first have to leave your entire personal history. The showers and toilets are outdated and not very clean. Waste disposal did not work either. And then €20.06 for one night, plus very expensive electricity. We are disappointed.Translating
Good central motorhome site. Everything is fine price-wise. I would gladly come again! In winter, however, the water at the service point is turned off because of frost. Note: Electricity now costs an additional €0.70/kWh. The website says this starts on May 1, 2026, while a sign on site says it is valid immediately.Translating
Simple site with a good location for the city. The sanitary facilities could certainly use renovation, but otherwise everything you need is available. The price was also okay for us. We will come again.Translating
Great motorhome site right in the harbor. €18 including electricity, water and waste disposal, and toilet. Excellent!Translating
The site is straightforward. Check-in and check-out at the machine. Clean shower and toilet. Quiet nights, central to the harbor. Everything perfect.Translating
Outdated sanitary facilities. The price is therefore not justified. Other visitors noticed the same thing. Two toilets each for women and men. In the adjoining room, two showers with curtains! What is the use of new barriers if hygiene is neglected? Timely renovation would be great. Bread-roll service. Thanks for that. The Emigration Museum, Havenwelten, and Museum Harbor are highly recommended. The city center less so.Translating
It's always nice here. New electricity pedestals, but otherwise almost everything has stayed the same. Check-in and check-out use a new system. Easy to operate. Cashless only now. For check-out, you need the customer number and booking number, so be sure to keep the receipt.Translating
Pitches are fairly flat, with fully autonomous arrival and departure. Not very close to the center, but right next to the cycle path along the river.Translating
The pitches are numbered, so the available space is predetermined. We walked to the Climate House and the next day to the Emigration Museum, about 20 minutes away. There are also restaurants and shopping options. What bothered us was that the two women's showers are next to each other in one room and cannot be locked, and the same applies to the men's showers.Translating
A fairly quiet and tidy site. Somewhat off the beaten track; you have to walk a bit to the nearest public transport, and there are few restaurants nearby. Hafencity, with its various museums—the Maritime Museum, Emigration House, and submarine—is worth seeing.Translating
A wonderfully sheltered site directly between the lock and the Weser, very close to the ferry to Nordenham. I was there for the second time and again felt very well looked after. The staff are very friendly. A shower costs one euro and gives you seven minutes. I will gladly come again.
Beautiful, clean site! The €15 is perfectly reasonable! I can only recommend it! We will definitely come again!
I would like to give five stars, but the Wi-Fi is so slow. We really haven't reached the 21st century in Germany yet!
Great site in an ideal location. The entire electricity system has just been renewed, and from next week electricity is supposed to be charged according to consumption. Hopefully it will stay at €15 per night.
Good site, a little noisy in the morning, but only €18 including electricity and toilet; shower €1. Close to the town and shopping, max. 2 km.
Beautiful site. Everything about the facilities has already been mentioned. We would come again.
The site is beautifully located. But beware! Last night at 3 a.m. I caught two young men red-handed trying to steal my bicycle. It was attached to the rear carrier outside the vehicle and secured with a heavy lock. The noise of them breaking the lock woke me up; I saw the thieves through the rear window and knocked loudly.
This was a very beautiful, wonderful site. A good place to linger by the water.
Very friendly welcome and a thorough explanation of the surroundings on the city map—that's how it should be! Thank you to the helpful site manager.
The site itself is beautifully located. Unfortunately, the access road was too steep for our vehicle, an Argos 747-2. Because of its ground clearance and underfloor-installed equipment, we could not reach the site without risking damage. For vehicles with low ground clearance or large overhangs, advance warning about the slope would be very helpful.
Very nice motorhome site in an excellent location for the city center (Havenwelten, 15 minutes on foot). Twenty-four hours cost €18, showers cost €1, and there is also a bread-roll service. Perfect!
Very good motorhome site. For €18, electricity, disposal facilities, toilet, and shower are included. Water costs €1 for five minutes. The shower is not quite perfect. Very nice for walking around the harbor. No tourist tax required. The site manager is very kind and helpful.
Unfortunately, the ticket from the machine is still unreadable. Not enough electricity points, and some of them do not work either. On the outer edge there is electricity only if you have a long, sturdy extension cable longer than 30 meters that lies across the road.
The site is very centrally located; everything is within reach. It was quiet too. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities are outdated and the hygiene leaves something to be desired. The price, however, is reasonable.
