Very nice, quiet location just a stone's throw from the town and walks along the Vienne. Lots of shade. Difficult to find, though, as it is at the end of a large parking area. Follow the signs.✦Translating

Stayed here last night, had a great quiet night sleep on concrete and flat. Good size bays and had all services. Electric was good, and waist disposal all working. Payment was collected at about 08.30 hours by the uniformed wardens. Location was well kept. Payment was card, they have a machine. Easy to find, would use again.

Access is almost immediately on the left after entering the car park. We parked easily with a 7.5 m motorhome. Electricity hookup and water tap at the pitch. Beautiful place with lovely shady spots. Service station before you enter the parking area. You first have to cross an ordinary car park before finding it. This can be tight with a larger camper if it is full of cars. Follow the signs through the entire town to get there. Thanks to the municipality.✦Translating

Not suitable for large motorhomes. Not lit at night and not easy to find in the town center. It is not easy to spot on the far left when entering a large car park. Otherwise, very quiet and basic. The city is nice but the camping enclosure is a little run down, most electricity boxes are broken. Best to arrive in daylight as negotiating to perked cars, the narrow entrance and the rather unforgiving stone walls in the camping area is not easy in the dark. Parking ladies turned up at 8am and were surprised a semi naked man answered the door ?

Thanks to the town for this area: €14.70 per night with all services, not far from the town center. We were pleasantly woken by three young municipal employees who came to collect payment by card. The only complaint is the lack of lighting at night.✦Translating

Arrived Saturday morning and left Sunday at noon. A good area; each pitch has a hookup with electricity and water. There is also a place to empty the toilet and grey water. Five minutes' walk from the market. Not lit at night, but very quiet.✦Translating

Pleasant area in a park. We arrived in the evening twilight and it was difficult to find. Be careful: there is no streetlamp illuminating the area and little light when crossing the park bridges to get into town. Many restaurants are closed on Mondays. We spent three nights in Niort. Very nice, central, and quiet motorhome area with separate parking bays. The park directly adjoining it is peaceful. On the first morning at 8:30, we paid for the three days to three friendly city employees; after that, we were not disturbed again.✦Translating

My GPS took me all around Niort only to make me enter a one-way street in the wrong direction! I eventually gave up and went to Benet.✦Translating

We stayed Saturday and Sunday, nobody came to collect any money on Sunday and we left early on Monday morning, nice walk to the town center and near to a big supermarket, we had electricity and good empty and fill water. Be aware narrow to go out

Very central location, we stayed 2 nights. A little noise on the 1st night with music but not too obtrusive. A person comes to collect payment in the morning so expect an early knock if you like sleeping in. Spaces both nights which was a surprise as it was the weekend. The area is very good. Quiet, though a bit of a labyrinth to enter. But no municipal employee came to collect payment in the morning, and there was no indication of where we could pay. €16.50 per night for five people.

Stopped to empty black and grey water and to refill water outside the motorhome area without disturbing anyone. Filling and cleaning are free. Thanks to the municipality! Excellent and easy to find by following the signs.

A town-center area—what more could you ask for? The price for 24 hours is reasonable. Tree-lined and clean. We recommend it.

I have a T5 Transporter L1H1 and spent one night in the Bessac car park next door. No problem. Good for emergencies.
