Bay-view parking, exposed in wind

Great night mist came in just after we parked up was a great night sleep

Great views, really quiet though exposed if windy. Toilets basic but clean.

A really splendid spot along the low wall next to the cemetery where it is pretty level and there is enough room for three motorhomes. We had a really quiet night looking out over the bay and enjoyed seeing Lerwick lit up at night. Will definitely stay here again when we return from Unst and Yell next week. The nearby Shetland museum is amazing by the way and well worth a visit.

We stayed here a few times during our 6 weeks on Shetland very quiet both late at night and during the night. Lovely views although can be a bit windy at times. But thats Shetland. Good to see Northlink coming and going plus some of the cruise ships.

Not many options for Lerwick unfortunately so we tried here on a Friday night. Although it’s a dead end, the road is busy with walkers till late. We got a wake up call around 0130 from the revving of a couple of (presumably) boy racers. Quiet from then on till morning but we moved on next lunchtime. It’s probably quieter during the week.

Good place to park for access to Lerwick. Very peaceful night with no early morning noise

We visited hoping to stay the night but it was way too midge. Enough space along wall for three motor homes. The Nab parking at the end was very slopped and not possible. We moved to another location.

A great spot for a overnight stay. Plenty of parking near the toilet block. Short walk to the pub.
