Daytime parking, crowded weekends

Anyone parking and staying overnight here in a van or motorhome is being disrespectful to the residents and locals! Anyone standing here with their motorhome as shown in the pictures has not understood what it means to be a guest in a country! The place is too narrow and you are blocking the sidewalks. It is a shame that some people are so inconsiderate and make it harder for all of us to park freely.

Meh. Much nicer to continue through the car park and turn left to the other Park4 Night site. Much greener and quieter.

Free parking with a viewpoint over the city. The portable toilet on site was clean. There is also a coffee machine nearby for anyone interested. Ten to fifteen minutes on foot to the center. The parking area is quite full during the season! Campers, vans, and cars from all over Europe, plus local youths who make quite a lot of noise until dusk. Quiet and peaceful at night.

Enough free parking spaces available. Ideal for visiting the city.

Ideal starting point for sightseeing in the city. No problem for our 5.8-meter motorhome; it should not be much larger.

Super convenient and free parking for the city center. Beautiful view of the city. A little noisy: cars constantly coming and going all day, and young people meeting in the evening to talk and drink beer. During the day, you can hear music from the conservatory opposite.

On Sunday night I had a quiet night. Not the music that was mentioned earlier. On Monday morning at 8am construction work started. Toi toi toilet. You can take the stairs (there are a lot of steps) or take the funicular during opening hours.

Friday was very noisy, with cars constantly coming and going. Impossible to sleep; at 2 a.m. they were still going.

Good spot; we stayed there for two nights. There is a portable toilet and a bin. At weekends it is apparently also a meeting place for couples, but very discreetly and without any mess, as it is relatively small. Otherwise, a quiet place. Direct route by cable car and across the bridge into the old town.
