Parking at the Old Nags Head pub, where you should ask in the bar before staying. Staff gave conflicting answers about whether overnight stays were allowed, although two nights were reportedly accepted after asking and buying drinks. The parking is spacious and well lit, but recent reports mention substantial road noise and early-morning activity; the food and beer were well regarded.

Lovely place to stay and we found it very quiet on a Monday night. However, the lady working in the restaurant area said we shouldn’t stay, where as the barman said we could, so a bit confusing. We chose to eat there and the food was excellent and beer kept well.
Large, well-lit parking area, friendly staff, and an elegant venue, with prices consequently not low. A lot of road noise for almost the entire night, and from early morning from people walking their dogs at the back. We were just passing through, had something at the bar, and thank them nonetheless for their hospitality.
Great park up. We ended up staying for 2 nights with friends. Brought drinks both times and asked. One staff member said all fine (at your own risk). The other didn’t seem to know but said okay anyway.
