Riverside daytime stop, overnight fines

Several regulars from the area confirmed to us that local people report motorhomes in these places to the police. This way of doing things is not very proper; they should simply install a sign prohibiting motorhomes from spending the night, as many other places do. This is certainly not good publicity for the region.

The Guardia Civil fined us and three others. Overnight stays are prohibited in the region of Aragón. The site is very good for daytime use and taking a swim.

Perfect place! The ban is, for as far as we could tell, for the other side of the river, not the side of this spot. Either way we spent two nights here without trouble. We loved it. We used it as a base for hiking in Ordesa national park, a little more than half an hour away, and spent the day in-between just relaxing by the river. Highly recommend and would return.

Wonderful place, just as we like them: river, shade, walks, no services, so take your own rubbish with you. In fact, we should continue respecting these beautiful spots.

Gorgeous tranquil spot. Definitely a max of two cars. We just managed to turn around to exit at 6.6 metres long. Good to have a fallback spot. Access the area by the nearby river bridge not the white roads which we realised are single track roads used by farmers!

Great place and very accessible by van. But I do not recommend going there in a motorhome. Count on two spaces, only one of them by the river.

Warning: at 7:30 a.m., the forest rangers, who were police, told us to leave because sleeping in the department is prohibited. They checked that the “old campfire” had not been made by us. Since our presence was invisible from the road and almost undetectable, I think this peaceful spot was subject to bad behaviour by a camper who made a campfire, and the police have been monitoring it ever since.

Perfect quiet spot by the river. Flat and peaceful, although if your camper is over 6m long, it’s a bit tight to manoeuvre.

The spot was already taken, so I went down the next track, which was a little longer and rockier but led to a superb place beside the river.

Great spot, with a playground and drinking water nearby. We enjoyed two peaceful days despite the road being close.

Very secluded place directly beside the river. Suitable only for small vehicles, with a maximum of three spaces. On the access road there is another widened area with room for three or four more vehicles. Highly recommended!
