It is chargeable, with payment currently possible only by credit card, and the daily fee was 20 Euro. Shops including Edeka, restaurants, walking routes, and the beach, about 10 minutes away on foot, are nearby.

We were here in winter; the place was clean and cleared of snow, with shopping facilities around the corner at Edeka. The beach is just under a 10-minute walk away. Many walking paths and restaurants nearby.
Money machine made in Rügen: payment only by credit card, without this being apparent when entering the parking lot. Outrageous!
Full sun all day. DAILY FEE: €20 at the machine. I do not recommend it.
