Quiet overnight parking, Monday restrictions

We left the van there all day while visiting the small town on foot. No problems for the van.

We stayed here for two nights over the weekend. Actually quiet, although we wondered why cars occasionally drove along the parking area and back again. When approaching, be sure to follow the excellent directions; the roads above are very narrow and offer almost no opportunity to turn around with a 7.4 m motorhome.

Warning!!! Three days and two nights without problems, but on the third day, a Sunday evening around 6 p.m., a woman knocked on the door while the lights were off in the van, suggesting that nobody was there. Clearly embarrassed and not expecting to see anyone, she stammered and sped away in her car. Probably scouting the area! Too quiet for my liking... Information is up to date.

Early November, nobody around, very quiet. We stayed four nights without any problems. Fifteen minutes from Florence by scooter. Flat spot, much better than the one reserved for motorhomes farther up. Easy access if you do not follow Waze or Maps. Always stay on the main road and zoom out on the map. Otherwise, you are guaranteed a nightmare.

Great parking area in a beautiful place near Florence. The bus directly to central Florence is a 10-minute walk away. In the town center, you can find a few cute restaurants and a beautiful view over Florence. We felt very safe.

I really liked the place and parking area itself. The only strange thing—and I really mean strange—was that at 11:15 p.m., while I was lying in my vehicle, people started disappearing in large numbers. First, at 10:30 p.m., I had trouble finding a space among an estimated 40–60 vehicles, and suddenly at 11:30 p.m. about 30 spaces were free again.

Quiet, level parking area. We had a very peaceful night—the neighboring factory was closed over Easter. The spaces are nicely level. To reach the city center: a few minutes’ walk to Piazza Fiesole, then about 20 minutes by bus number 7 to Piazza della Libertà. From there, it is a few more minutes on foot to central Florence.

A local woman recommended it to us, on the outskirts of Florence, to avoid the scares and thefts so often mentioned in reviews of the area. Very close by on foot, bus number 7 takes you to central Florence in 15–20 minutes for €1.70 if you pay by card at the bus shelter. We slept two nights. The streets are somewhat narrow and very, very steep on the way to the spot.

We slept here one night and left the car here all day the next day while taking the bus to Florence. It was a quiet night but an unbelievably noisy morning. Tip: do not park on the right by the factories, but on the left by the wall. A few meters away from the morning noise. The village is very cute. We recommend eating there before continuing your journey.

The perfect parking area for visiting Florence while keeping your van safe! You will be in the beautiful hills overlooking Florence, in a quiet neighborhood. We did not spend the night here, but I think it would be possible. Twenty minutes from central Florence by bus.

Free parking in a charming village 20 minutes by car from central Florence. There are no services, but the road is lightly trafficked at night and the area is quiet.

Sorry, but I can only give it a rating of 1. We stayed two nights. Strongly discouraged in summer. Tarmac parking, very hot in summer. Used for events at the arena until 1 a.m., followed by a constant stream of cars, scooters and shouting, plus industrial workshops and trucks being loaded even at night. Fiesole is nice, and bus number 7 is very good; it is 10 minutes from Florence.

Good place to stop and visit Florence/ firenze. bus no.7 is easy to get. but beware make sure you stamp your ticket ! we arrived in Florence and within seconds ticket people checked our ticket and because we didn't stamp it they gave us a fine! no sympathy that we are tourists and didn't know that we had to stamp it on the bus. very rude welcoming to the city. lots of mosquitos here !

Free and quiet parking without amenities, but ideal for visiting Florence with regular buses.

The main positive point is that it is quiet, not far from Florence, and above all free. There are workshops along the edge, but we had no problems with the neighbors. However, there are no services and no view. We spent one night without problems, then left the vehicle there during the day to visit Florence by bicycle. The return is uphill, but still manageable.

Good spot for visiting Florence; we stayed two nights. The only drawback is that the streetlights remain on all night, but good curtains are enough. There were two or three campers per night. The bus stop is a 10-minute walk away and takes you to Florence; ticket machines are available at the stop. Public toilets and a drinking-water fountain are near the bus stop.

Quiet and close to the city. Access via Via Giovanni Bastianini is no problem even with a large motorhome.

Beautiful parking area, very quiet day and night. On public holidays, the workshops beside the area are closed, so it is completely peaceful. Bus line 7 is very efficient and takes you to Florence in 30 minutes. Recommended.

We highly recommend this parking area in the quiet town of Fiesole. We spent two nights and had no problems. Of course, you need to take the bus to enjoy Florence, with a journey of 30 minutes, but it is worth it. The bus stop is in the village center and buses run every 20 minutes.

A very good location for visiting and staying near Florence. You can easily reach the city in 30 minutes by bus number 7. It was quiet at night and we slept well. The only issue was noise at 7:00 a.m. from trucks loading scrap metal at the neighboring metal workshop, but we were already awake. This area hosts a market on the first, third and fifth Mondays of every month, so take care.

Large, quiet and free parking area. We felt very safe. Access with the 7 m camper was quite difficult, challenging and narrow. On the way down, we found the main road, where the local bus also runs. That route was no problem for our camper. Check the route carefully beforehand! Parking is not possible on the first, third and fifth Monday of every month.

Good spot. To reach Florence, take bus number 7 from the village square; it costs €1.70 one way per person and drops you at Florence station, 5 minutes from the Duomo. Buy tickets at the automatic machine on Fiesole square. I would add that there are very clean public toilets opposite the cathedral museum entrance, down the slope.
