Been here?
This campsite sits directly beside the sea on a grassy area for tents, cars and all types of motorhomes, with some pitches offering electricity. Registration is required at the kiosk or opposite house before driving to the site, and reservations may be needed because it can fill quickly. The price reported is 400 NOK per night; showers cost extra, with one shower available from 9–21h for up to 5 min. Sanitary facilities are clean, but drinking water must be collected in a canister and the access road is narrow.

Beautiful beach with a lovely campsite on grass. We reserved in advance because we had read that it could fill up quickly. The friendly owner assigns the pitches. There is plenty of space between campers, so everyone had enough room. There are three toilets, one shower, and a sink behind reception for washing dishes. Unfortunately, we had bad weather.Translating
Getting there was quite an adventure in severe storms. We stayed two nights, rented boards from Stad Board and Neos, and had a wonderful day of surfing in changeable weather. The owners are friendly, and the toilets and shower are clean. However, there is only one shower. Dishes can be washed outside behind reception. No other services are available.Translating
I was planning to go here surfing. Drove all the way from Finland to this place, but the camping was fully booked until two weeks. I was so dissapointed. Was a beautiful place but turned out to be very crowded. Lot of families and not the small surftown vibe i was expecting. Atleast this time of the year. Book the camping in advance if you plan to stay here!!!!
We arrived at 1 p.m. on a Friday and it was already full. It is best to reserve in advance. The parking area next door is open until 11 p.m. for about 120 NOK. That worked for us. Great beach. I cannot understand people complaining about the campsite price. Supply and demand regulate things. That should be understood in the 21st century. You simply do not often find a sandy beach, water, and waves like this so far north.Translating
Exceptional views, clean, close to the beach which is great for surfers, fishermen, watermen. Facilities are clean. Owner keeps that right. Checks it regularly. Shop has a small amount of stuff you can buy which will do. Field is not to level. Stayed for 3 nights to surf. Partying is not really appreciated here by the owner. Would come again.
Stunning bay, the most beautiful we’ve seen in Norway. Very quiet, mostly surfers. 400 NOK/night is overpriced: no fresh water refill, no grey water disposal. Only one shower 9–21h, max 5 min. Dishwashing sink is outside – not ideal in bad weather. Road is narrow but OK with a motorhome. We stayed longer than planned – the view is just breathtaking.
An idyllic place in one of the most beautiful locations imaginable! Simple and authentic, but everything you need is there, along with a very friendly owner! Worth every euro! Many, many thanks! P.S. Dream beach for surfers!!Translating
We stayed for three nights. The spot is superb. The shower and toilet are very clean. Electricity for our van, but no possibility of filling with water. It is very expensive because it is popular with surfers, but the view was worth it. We even saw the Northern Lights!Translating
Hey, we are now on our second day here; the location and the place are great. Now for the big BUT: the price is now 400 NOK for nothing more than a flat piece of grass. I find it absolutely unfair since there is no alternative! Showers and toilets are clean. Nevertheless, I find the price unreasonable.Translating
Beautiful place, nice waves for longboard and shortboard. Campground was simple but lovely. Public toilets were cleaner than expected. Pay extra for electricity. Ask for key to shower. I loved our stay!
Campsite facing the sea, small but really great. The facilities are very clean even though they are public. You have to ask for the key to shower, with only one shower, and it is also very clean. Really a beautiful place; we rarely stay at campsites, but this one was great.Translating
Campsite by the sea. Beautiful view. Toilets: the beach's public toilets are used, but they are really very clean. Only three toilets and two sinks. Showers: ONLY ONE behind reception. You need to ask for the keys and hope it is not already occupied. Hot water included in the price. Super clean. Staff: They even allowed us to shower after checkout. Price: 275 NOK for two people and a van/car.Translating
What a gem!!! Our favorite place in Norway. It is unique to be right on the beach of this beautiful bay and watch the (surf) waves from your camper. Make sure you bring groceries; there is no shop or anything else here, and that is part of its charm! Friendly campsite owner. Book in advance if you want to be sure of a place during high season.Translating
Amazing view! Showers, toilet, surf rental, sauna… everything you need! Book in advance to get the spots in the front.
