Daytime parking, overnight ban

This year it is no longer permitted to sleep in the lower parking area. After 8 p.m. you must go to the motorhome parking area with a parking ticket. A municipal police officer comes by to warn people. Barbecues are also prohibited, even gas ones.✦Translating

Paid motorhome area immediately on the left toward the campsite, with no other sign. There is a serious lack of information and signage: apparently things changed this year! It concerns the entire area, including the lower parking area. So overnight parking in this area is paid after all; a security guard checks that you have a ticket and, if unhappy, comes back with a cowboy.✦Translating

Attention: there is the campsite, the road before the campsite where the motorhome area is located, which is mandatory overnight, and the parking area described here for parking a leisure vehicle until 8 p.m. Afterwards, the motorhome area is mandatory at €9 for 24 hours plus €1.30 tourist tax for two adults. No explanatory sign; a security guard comes to warn you before the police intervene with a €135 fine.✦Translating

Great spot next to the lake. Stayed for one night, about four other campers were there as well. Really quiet in April, probably overcrowded in summer. We did not pay any fees.

Perfect for one night, I recommend it! Quiet, free, shaded area with picnic tables and two nearby restaurants! Attention, the toilets were not open (see photo), but there are bins, so remember to sort your waste. Access to the lake is 600 m on foot. The Surchauffant hiking trail starts here. Do not get confused: on the left is the paid regulated area reserved for motorhomes.✦Translating

Lots of space, well-shaded pitches. We paid nothing after staying two nights at the end of August. Toilets nearby, restaurant, direct access to the beach. Excellent.✦Translating

Beautiful grassy parking area. Public toilets not far away. Near the beach. We asked the police if we could sleep there and they said yes, but did not mention that we had to pay. Local police therefore came to ask us to pay €10.50 including tourist tax. Good spot, but paid, so… we are not used to paying.✦Translating

Large parking area with trees and grass, free of charge. We spent a very quiet night in a van. Dog owners, please pick up after your dogs. The parking area was clean.✦Translating
