Been here?
A quiet, shaded castle parking area in a green natural setting, suitable for an overnight stop. The Sèvre can be crossed by a chain-operated ferry, and an old washhouse is nearby. There is no water or electricity, and no network has been reported. Access is unsuitable for large motorhomes, although a 7 m van can pass; space is available for two or three vans, maximum 6 m according to older comments.

Picturesque place, but we stayed in the other car park in the village because there were too many flies.Translating
Very good for the night. Natural and peaceful setting. Simple and effective, perfect.Translating
A little gem in a green setting! Crossing the Sèvre by chain ferry! Old washhouse, highly recommended. Complete peace for falling asleep and waking up amid the sounds of nature! No water or electricity access.Translating
A very quiet, tree-filled place for a lovely break.Translating
We are right opposite a beautiful ruin, next to a park surrounded by fields! A river runs beside the park and you can borrow a boat to cross it—it is idyllic! Sheep in the park and cows in the meadow! This little corner of paradise is wonderful! The place is clean; bring rubbish bags so you leave nothing behind for others.Translating
Really great place, with animals. Very little activity apart from the sound of the water and wind; very peaceful. A 7-metre van fits, and you can park.Translating
You cannot find a quieter place, alone in the world. However, it is not suitable for large motorhomes and there is no network. Very pretty village; we did the 9 km hike, which was great fun.Translating
Beautiful, picturesque place steeped in history. Peaceful and makes you want to spend a restful night. However, very large vehicles should stay away.Translating
