A large, level, unlit parking area on Dartmoor with wide views and partial shelter from the wind. Recent stays found it quiet, with 5G reception and wild ponies visiting in the evening or morning. One recent report described cars doing doughnuts throughout the night and nearly hitting campers, so conditions can vary. There are no bins.

Great place! Very spacious, many spaces, level, unlit, excellent 5G reception, and very quiet at night. In the evening the ponies came by; the herd galloping against the sunset was magical. I stayed with four other campers and felt very safe.
Right on the moor, we might have gotten lucky with staying overnight. During the night it was really quiet and woke up with the ponies roaming around on the parking lot. Loved the spot!
Nice big car park that is fairly level but be warned the area is full of Chavs using their cars to do doughnuts all through the night! Nearly hitting parked campers.
Beautiful large parking area in the middle of Dartmoor. Very little traffic on the adjacent road. More sheep around your camper than cars. No rubbish bins.
love this car park, it was very windy but half sheltered and there were beautiful horses all around. Great Vodafone signal and a peaceful night sleep zzzzz
Super spot. Nice and quiet. Expect horses by the van in morning. They know where potential food is.
It’s a perfect spot to park up for the evening even with 60mph wilds and none stop rain, the view was beautiful and was nice to see the wild horses in the morning. Hardly no phone signal on EE but had WIFI, definitely a good place to stay
