20 Rue du Val Joly, 59740, Willies
Been here?
Beautiful campsite 10 minutes walk from Valjoly resort with spacious, shaded pitches. Showers and WC included; 220V connection at each pitch requires European blue plug. Bathrooms are dated and cleanliness varies. Drainage point and water filling available via containers. Holiday camp groups occasionally use the site, affecting the quiet atmosphere.

The campsite is advertised as quiet, but groups from holiday camps are welcomed. So goodbye to peace and quiet, and the campsite managers do not react.Translating
One star deducted for the sanitary facilities, which are really disappointing both in cleanliness and age! You need to wear Crocs in the shower, and for us it was a one-time visit with a motorhome. Otherwise, a dump point is available, and water can be supplied using 40-liter containers. Well shaded and pleasant this weekend. Large pitches when some people do not spread over two pitches.Translating
Beautiful, quiet campsite with spacious pitches, shady or sunny as desired. Good value for money. Electricity and showers are included. However, you need to bring your own toilet paper and soap. There are many activities in the surrounding area.Translating
Very nice place, quiet, with large shaded or sunny pitches, clean heated sanitary facilities, a very warm welcome, and a very reasonable price, close to the lake and activities. The only drawback: not all pitches are stabilized.Translating
Nice, shaded, quiet campsite; the sanitary facilities need attention regarding cleanliness—a squeegee would be the minimum. Close to activities on the lake.Translating
The ideal place for a stopover when arriving or departing. Good shady pitches, electricity close by, and modern, good sanitary facilities. Friendly, reliable, multilingual service.Translating
Quiet place with a great view of the lake.Translating
I confirm the previous review in that the sanitary facilities are not clean at all and need major refurbishment—it is borderline for a three-star campsite! Positive points are the welcome, the setting, and the surroundings, with some activities available at 20% off upon presentation of the booking confirmation.Translating
The pitches are not bad, but it was dry; in rainy weather it could be difficult to get out, as the tracks on the ground show. The sanitary facilities could use a refresh; they are a little old-fashioned. There is no night manager, so music from a holiday camp continued until very late. Overall, it needs improvement.Translating
Only stopped for a place to sleep. Had rained during the day but dry all week beforehand yet almost all pitches were waterlogged. Lots of people getting stuck. We were in a LWB van but I would have dreaded it if we were in a motorhome. Tried a couple of taps, neither worked. Toilets/showers ok
Excellent welcome, excellent sanitary facilities, excellent cassette-toilet emptying, and the gray-water and filling area are fine. The pitches are not properly maintained, resulting in motorhome tracks stuck in the mud everywhere. Why not add gravel areas for motorhomes and vans? The setting is fine but a little far from the lake and therefore the activities. €23 for one night, two adults, and two children.Translating
We spent the weekend on a fairly wet pitch after rain the previous day. The result was that we and other motorhomes got stuck. The grounds are not very flat, creating puddles. It is a little far from the resort, so bicycles are recommended. The sanitary facilities are clean (do not look at the drain). Hot water in the facilities.Translating
Contact Gauthyer, the campsite manager, to find out whether there is space. €50 deposit for a badge, which allows entry when reception is closed. Clean campsite. The lake activities are a little farther away and can be reached on foot or by bicycle. Clean showers. Children’s activities.Translating
Two adults, two nights, €30. During the week and off-season, you can choose your pitch. Under the trees and cool! Quiet, with only birdsong audible. Clean sanitary facilities, little used at this time of year. Five minutes by bicycle from Val Joly. Many activities were closed, with only the pool and golf available. Numerous mountain-bike trails in the woods; use an app, as Valjoly reception does not have a map available.Translating
