A peaceful picnic area in Gorbeia Natural Park, with attractive mountain scenery and several hiking routes. Picnic facilities, trash containers and portable toilets are available nearby, but there is no reliable water point. Access includes two steep, high speed bumps, and vehicles over 6m are prohibited; the final 2km is narrow, sloping and potholed. Mobile reception is unavailable.

Superb spot, a small clearing for having lunch. Extremely beautiful hiking trails start here in the mountains. Almost nobody in early September... paradise! Thanks for sharing this wonderful place.
On a cloudy day this spot is not special because you can't see any view. Road has two steep & high speed bumps indeed, I think they are manageable with almost any basic van I'd say. Quiet night, you can hear goat bells sometimes. Absolutely zero cell phone reception. In the morning about 15 cars drove past to the next parking (which is nothing special because there is no viee)
Very peaceful place in the middle of nature. We spent the afternoon and slept there; in the morning we went for a walk. Perfect. There are two portable toilets and two large rubbish bins.

Very good place. Although it has recently become very crowded, it is well worth a visit. Beautiful routes ascending Gorbea, Mairuelegorreta, Azero, and more.
