Been here?
This well-maintained, quiet campsite has paved or grassy pitches near the Wupper River, with hiking trails and nature all around. Sanitary facilities are clean, the operators are friendly, and a small restaurant and café are open only at weekends. The latest reported price is 19,50 for 1 person and 1 camper, while internet and mobile reception are very limited. Some pitches are small and closely spaced, particularly near the road.

A good campsite for one or a few nights. It's a shame that the restaurant and café are only open at weekends. No Wi-Fi. Poor mobile phone reception. TV works fine. I was there in July and it was very quiet. Lots of permanent guests, who apparently were on holiday elsewhere!?
Very well-maintained campsite. Many permanent campers. Sanitary facilities very good. Nice people. Spent one night here with a van. Very quiet. Restaurant only open at weekends. Unfortunately, no WLAN and very limited internet. It was just enough to work. However, this depends on the location. The campsite is in a valley.
It's not really my thing. Everything is packed together. Tiny pitches, you stand very close to everyone else....
A lovely example of a successful mix of permanent and short-term campers on a beautifully located site with everything you could want. Committed and friendly site team. Cycling is possible, but it is better suited to hiking—be sure to visit the castle. The pitches facing the road are quite noisy, though—nevertheless :-)
Very nice peoble, quiet and clean place.
Super beautiful campsite! We are here with our Bulli and even got a pitch directly by the water. All the other pitches look great too. The washroom is older but by no means damaged. Everything is very clean. We were given a very friendly welcome! Beautiful hiking trails in the area. We would gladly come again :)
A very idyllic site, clean sanitary facilities, pleasant atmosphere, and the price is completely reasonable. You occasionally hear the road, but the sound of the flowing water does a good job of drowning it out. I only wanted to stay one night. Since I liked it so much, it became five. I would gladly return.
+ positive: beautiful location - €39 for one night (camper/2 people/1 dog including electricity) - There was a tasting event in the restaurant. We couldn't eat there because it should have been booked in advance. We asked whether the two of us could take part, but that wasn't possible. No shops in the immediate vicinity. We ate at the mini-golf course—tasty and inexpensive. --- DISADVANTAGE! ZERO INTERNET!! NO PHONE SIGNAL AND NO WI-FI!
Very nice campsite with a very friendly operator. There is a small restaurant and you can go hiking wonderfully in the surrounding area. The price is okay: €19.50 for one person and one camper. Shower included with no time limit. Everything very clean. The only disadvantage... very poor or no internet. Inconvenient for me as a solo traveller.
Great site. Very pleasant atmosphere and very friendly operator. We would gladly come again!
I stayed here for seven nights and liked it very much. The location is great for hiking. The hiking trails are varied, and there are places where dogs can swim in streams and in the Wupper. The operators are very nice, and the food in the beer garden at weekends is delicious. Fresh water is available directly at the pitch, which I find very practical for a stay of several days.
Friendly welcome and the pitches are okay. You are “required” to park in a certain position. Sanitary facilities were clean but old. Many permanent campers, including a very unfriendly bald man in a tracksuit who constantly complained. Unpleasant.
expensive.... €42 for one night, 2 adults and 2 children with electricity. Shop/bar not open on a Monday. should reduce rate for reduced services. shower and toilet clean.
