Priory Road, PE32 2AA, Castle Acre
Been here?
Pull in beside the entrance, although access can be difficult because a gate is 6ft6 wide and some sections are single track. Free parking is available, with an outside tap beside the toilet providing water. The attractive town and priory are nearby, and the priory perimeter can be walked without paying entry.

The access was a bit dicey. A gate which is 6ft6 wide, so had to find another way thru, and there was a few single track parts for us to negotiate. The town is very cute and pretty. The car park would have taken us easily, but we took the spot just outside out of the way. Priory is amazing if you love history, or ruins. We are English Heritage members so free entry for us, and dogs are welcome.
Outside tap outside the toilet - water !
we were just passing through and didn't want to pay entry but was pleased to find you could walk around the perimeter fence of the priory, use the toilets and park here for free.
