Camping at Lake Gudower

Beautiful campsite. We had a pitch right by the lake. The operators and long-term campers are very kind and friendly. We felt very comfortable and would have liked to stay longer than just two nights. The sanitary facilities are spotlessly clean and modern.

Unique place, pure nature. A grassy pitch with large shade-giving trees right next to the lake. We were unfortunately only staying one night while passing through, but we were given the warmest welcome, as if we were regular guests. The sanitary facilities have been newly renovated, and are very spacious and clean. This was not our last visit!

We had a great pitch with evening sun and a view of the lake. Everything was very tidy. The sanitary facilities were freshly renovated. Everything was excellent. The staff were very friendly. We would be happy to come back.

Great location; our pitch also had a perfect view of the lake, and it was wonderfully quiet (during the week at the beginning of May)! The two of us paid €26 with a car rooftop tent, without electricity.

We arrived on 9 July 2025. Friendly welcome, mainly seasonal campers, so very quiet during the week. Very clean, with a pitch overlooking the lake. We will come back!!

There is some space for campers at this campsite, which is mostly occupied by seasonal guests. We stayed there with about six other campers. The view is nice and you can swim from the small beach, which can get busy in warm weather. We paid €23 for a camper with two people without electricity. My bank card was not accepted, and the deposit also had to be paid in cash. Reception is open only limited hours.

Mainly used by seasonal campers; we were the only short-term guests and could choose a nice pitch with a view of the lake. The groundskeeper and the other campers were very friendly. The sanitary facilities are very old, but acceptable if you do not have high expectations.

We got a pitch at short notice for one night. Great pitch right by the lake. The sanitary facilities could be modernized. Otherwise, very friendly service and everything was great!

There was nobody at reception and the contact number did not work. There were strange people in the restaurant, and in the end they told us there was no space, although there surely would have been some…

We were able to get a pitch at short notice after calling. Beautiful mature trees, wonderfully located right by the lake. Very friendly operator. Clean sanitary facilities. Motorhome for two people €23, without electricity, and free Wi-Fi. Far better than the now completely overpriced motorhome pitches, which in most cases do not even offer any services. Dogs are not allowed!

We arrived after the barrier had already been closed. None of the contact numbers answered. Emails were ignored too. The campsite has no facilities for late arrivals. Two stars only because we were able to spend the night peacefully in the car park next to the campsite, but that was not thanks to them. The campsite is aimed exclusively at German guests.
