4x4 access only
Getting here needs an off-road vehicle. Check your ground clearance before setting off.
Picnic spot with two sturdy tables and a public BBQ pit, set beside a river with a spectacular rock-face view. The last 50 metres of track are steep and rough, needing a 4x4 or small van/pickup; motorhomes cannot get up. Very quiet and private, but space is limited to about two vehicles and can get busy in summer. A posted sign warns against parking near the riverbank due to flood risk, with fines up to CHF 10,000. Likely unsuitable in winter.

Magnificent spot, picnic area with a beautiful view, waterfall (showering/swimming possible), and walks. Accessible only with a 4x4; small trucks can get through (Bûcher Duro).Translating
The place is as described, but we arrived at night and early in the morning discovered a sign prohibiting parking near the riverbanks due to potential flooding, with a fine of CHF 1,000 to 10,000.Translating
Beautiful place, accessible by van. We spent the night here. Very pleasant, but somewhat busy because there are not many other places to sleep nearby. A river runs just below, providing gentle evening background music.Translating
Great place. As in the previous comments, the last 50 metres are difficult, but I managed it with a Clio, so there you go. Otherwise, it is completely peaceful. The tables and the designated fire area are still there.Translating
Beautiful and quiet spot with a spectacular view of a massive rock face. Public grill and two large and sturdy picnic benches. The road is quiet steep and might be tricky if you don’t have 4 wheel drive. Not accessible to bigger motorhomes.
