Beautiful campsite by an old railway bridge. We stayed here one night. The sanitary facilities are okay.

Pleasant little campsite with an area full of cherry trees and rabbits. Clean sanitary facilities. Perfect for a one-night stop. Close to the road but very quiet in the evening and at night. Price: £30 for a campervan and two adults.

They had availability, and answered their phone in the evening. The shower runs out of hot water with multiple people and the rooster is active bright and early. It’s clean and well kept.

The welcome was very good. The campsite is run-down and the sanitary facilities were not clean. The women’s showers were lukewarm. A lot of noise from traffic and animals, including a rooster.

Level gravel pitches. We paid £25 per night without electricity and without a prior reservation. The sanitary facilities are somewhat old but very clean, with hot showers. Fairly noisy during the day because of the road and rail traffic, but no problem at night. Bus 29 takes about 45 minutes to reach the city center.

Great campsite with all the usual amenities. Showers clean and warm. There is a major road and train track nearby, but the noise quietened down later into the evening. Only stayed the one night, but would happily have stayed longer. Will stay again though, especially as the site is open year round.

Very friendly owners. Services are fine, sanitary facilities clean, and the pitch is good. Very good value for money for visiting Edinburgh, especially in midsummer. Bus line 29 is a 5–10 minute walk away and reaches the very center in 40 minutes. Ticket: £2.20 per adult.

Unfortunately, this time it was not as nice as on previous visits. Several caravans were occupied by many people, including children who repeatedly ran unsupervised through our pitch and touched our things. There was a lot of coming and going in the morning and evening, and minibuses picked up workers in the morning. The sanitary facilities were also not as clean as we had experienced before. What a shame.

We stayed here while visiting Edinburgh. The bus stop is practically at the doorstep. The operators are very nice. We paid £103 for three nights with a caravan, two adults and electricity. The wash house was clean and perfectly adequate. The road did not bother us; the police and ambulance sirens were more noticeable.

Very friendly welcome and a very reasonable price compared with what can be found in the area. The sanitary facilities are also very clean. The bus is a 10-minute walk away and takes 30–40 minutes to reach Edinburgh’s historic center. The major downside, except for heavy sleepers, is the vehicle noise on the road in front of the campsite. This should still be taken into account.

The campsite is mainly occupied by permanent residents in tightly packed caravans. The facilities and services are outdated and dirty. Definitely never again.

The place is a little outside Edinburgh but easy to access. The site is well maintained and has all services. The sanitary facilities are spotless. If you are sensitive to traffic, it is not ideal. There is traffic late into the evening, including vehicles and trains. For us, it did not prevent us from sleeping well at all! We paid £40 for a motorhome, three adults and two dogs.

Perfect parking spot for stopping near Edinburgh. Nice pitch with its table and chairs. With electricity, our cable was not long enough and they gave us a longer one. Very clean showers and toilets, with wonderfully hot water at no extra charge.

Excellent campsite with all the necessary, well-maintained facilities. Friendly staff. Dogs accepted. Near a busy road, but it is not bothersome at night. The Kings Gate bus stop is just a few steps away for Edinburgh; get off at South Bridge.

We found this an exceptionally pleasant place to stay. Since there are no facilities for children at the campsite, many people were away during the day and it was wonderfully quiet. Everything was very neat, both the sanitary facilities and the beautifully landscaped campsite with its coniferous and fruit trees.

A very beautiful campsite under a viaduct, with a little grass—just enough for a table and a clothesline. However, if you want a peaceful night, avoid it! It is right next to a noisy road and railway line. Edinburgh can be reached by bus, but it is not as easy as expected; allow one hour to the city center, and the bus stops are packed.

There is a Tesco on the route of bus 29 for supplies without having to move the motorhome. £35 per night with electricity for two adults and three children.

Very clean campsite. We stayed there at the beginning of July and it was very quiet. Friendly welcome. Wi-Fi does not work well enough, but there is good 4G reception. Showers are included in the price: the ladies' shower was perfect, while the men's shower was often cold. £35 per night for two adults, two children aged 7–10, and electricity. Five minutes' walk to the bus stop, and 40 minutes by Lothian bus to central Edinburgh.

The showers and toilets are extremely clean! We saw little rabbits wandering around. The road is a little noisy late at night and early in the morning, but we still slept well.

Lovely little camp with the cleanest toilets and showers - you can tell they are cleaned very often throughout the day. Very close to Edinburgh (45min bus journey) or 30min in an uber. Definitely recommend it, prices were good too!

Very friendly welcome. Neat place for the motorhome, and the train and bus are within walking distance. The toilet building is very tidy. In short, definitely recommended as a stopover. £60 for two nights.
