Beach parking, rough final road

An absolutely beautiful and unforgettable place! Although very crowded, the night and morning were very quiet. Had good conversations with happy fellow travelers. The beach is great for swimming. A possibility to see whales (belugas and humpback whales), porpoises, and seals. The toilets were quite full and smelled awful, but otherwise they were clean and worked well.

If you are hoping for a quiet place, go somewhere else. The motorhomes are packed together here in two rows side by side. The route here is absolutely worth it, and with some luck you may spot one or more belugas.

Super beautiful and very quiet. Disposal is only available for cassette toilets—no gray water or ground drain—but emptying and filling facilities are easy to find in Kirkenes. The few parking spaces are always full, with people constantly coming and going. The approach gets worse the farther you drive, extremely bumpy, so allow plenty of time. The 50 km are nevertheless worthwhile, as are the amazing views along the way. It is possible with a liner.

Spectacular place, with a very beautiful beach. If you are lucky, you may see a whale and the midnight sun. There is vehicle traffic, but it is not bothersome at all. A very peaceful night. There is a public toilet and a place to empty black water. The road is a track, but if you drive slowly it is no problem.

Spot is ok. It's a coming and going all day long. Nice to take a swim, when the weather is nice. The way to get there is not really nice, but doable with time. The night was quiet until the first tourists came at 4:45 on a Sunday!! the second car at 6:30, I'm a light sleeper. In the first row it's tight, because people like sardine life. In the "second" row I was all by myself

The landscape is still very beautiful, but it is completely overcrowded. According to their own statements, some people stay here for a week. Some are so “considerate” that they arrive with huge caravans and then block three spaces. It is pure luck whether you can still find a place. Despite the attractive landscape, the difficult approach is no longer worth it. What a shame.

Beautiful place to watch the midnight sun over the Barents Sea. Unfortunately, it is already too well known, so it is quite crowded, and motorcyclists keep arriving and leaving during the night.

A place you have to earn! A very chaotic road, with the last 10 km on a dirt track. But there were plenty of people on site. We saw an orca going back and forth looking for food! Very windy! Dry toilets and facilities for emptying cassette toilets.

Great place to spend a night. Nice view, a bit crowded in summer.

SPOT MINKE WHALES!!! Watch for seabirds above the water. Do you see birds circling or diving restlessly over a specific spot? Keep an eye on that location.

Magnificent spot with sea views, ideal for watching birds and whales. Cars also park here, so it can fill up quickly. Come in the morning, or around 5:00 p.m. for the best chance of finding a place. Saw whales on the evening of June 18 and the morning of June 19.

The drive there from the E6 is fairly quick at first, but gets slower toward the end because of the road condition. The weather is awful today but there is little wind and poor visibility. That is probably why there were still spaces in the afternoon. You can walk to the beach and the church; in better weather you can surely discover more. There is a nice shelter with a barbecue.

The drive to the camper site was worth it. It was special to drive along the border with Russia. At the camper site itself you can watch birds; we even saw a whale.

The drive here is worth it. A dream landscape. The church is interesting but closed. The site was unbearable for me. Completely overcrowded. If you get a place, you can easily pass a beer to your neighbor from window to window. I did not stay. The drive here was still worthwhile for me.

A beautiful spot with a great view of the sea. I was here on June 12, arrived at noon, and got the last space. Some had already been here longer, according to my neighbor, who was on his third day. Anyone wanting to stay here should arrive early, otherwise the 43-kilometer, partly very bumpy drive will have been in vain.

Parking at the end of the world where motorhomes spend hours waiting with binoculars, hoping to see whales. Beautiful sandy beach with water around 6°C. There are many people and few spaces—about 10 with sea views—all occupied by 2 p.m.; otherwise there are more spaces farther back toward the chapel.

Superb place; saw minke whales, dolphins, porpoises, and seals. The only negative point is that I am not used to being with so many motorhomes!

The end of the world, but so beautiful, wild, and natural. Two nights here: yesterday 4 vehicles, today 9 vehicles. Yesterday we only saw two dolphins surfacing in the fjord. Today we saw dolphins, seals, and two fairly close whales, but only very briefly. The road is not always easy, but it is worth the detour.

The drive there is a bit bumpy but totally worth it. With a little luck you can watch whales! Great scenery all around. Time passes far too quickly here. Best to stay overnight.

Unfortunately, it is closed in winter. A barrier blocks the way halfway there. The road is no longer cleared beyond that point!

What a fantastic place to stay. Fishing is possible. Garbage bins. Patrolled by soldiers. Come early, otherwise there will be no space at the front.

This is where the road ends. You have to return via the gravel road that leads here. You cannot drive any farther from here. The place is extremely beautiful, although I had perfect weather.

Wonderfully nice motorhome site! Fresh dry toilet and garbage bins. Very long queues and motorhomes packed in tightly in mid-July when it is sunny and warm. We saw whales and seals and swam at the beach next to the site, which locals also use. Soldiers guard the area because it is very close to the Russian border.
