This shaded corner beside the Canal du Midi is currently inaccessible because of a construction barrier for plane-tree and cycleway maintenance. A nearby shooting range can be noisy around lunchtime. When accessible, it has been used for picnics or a short overnight stop, and the Intermarché fuel station is next door.

Not accessible at the moment because of a construction barrier for maintenance of the plane trees and cycle path. A shooting range nearby was noisy around lunchtime.
We passed by, but we did not like the place, so we left for another spot. The GPS point takes you somewhere where the entrance says that vehicles are prohibited.
It met our needs for a short night: we left the motorway and refueled at the Intermarché station. Motorway noise nearby was manageable for sleeping because it was continuous, with none of the door-slamming or talking we would have had at a motorway rest area. We were happy to lose very little time getting there, and waking up with a view of the canal was a nice bonus.
At the exact GPS point, the place is not great: motorway 100 meters away, power line nearby, and lots of pedestrians in the morning. Positive point: motorway entrance 3 km away. I think you can find better places in the surrounding area. Thanks for the GPS point anyway.
Nice place for a picnic!
A little dirty and at the foot of the motorway, but sufficient for a night when peace and quiet are not the priority.
