Gravel pitches, some levelling needed

We enjoyed our stay. We came without reservation and it was okay. Short walk to town and Talisker.

Had a lovely evening in this spot and the lady we spoke to on the phone was lovely. Toilets and shower were clean and looked after. There is a honesty box on the cabin to pay in cash of which we did. Highly recommend and only 15 miles from Portree. Thank you and will definitely stay again.

The price per night is £25 for the first three nights and then £22, including all facilities.

Full service for motorhomes.

£10 in the honesty box to empty wastewater and toilet cassettes. The installation is just to the right after the reception hut. Not very convenient for the toilets. Water is available on the overnight pitches. We did not see any communal supply to use.

Cheap but basic site with full facilities. Great booking communication. Nice had own EHU and fresh water tap, plus free WiFi. Appreciate the owners are also working elsewhere full time so no face to face contact. Works well for a stop over. A little suggestion, leave some cleaning materials.

Basic but perfectly fine spot with good facilities for the night. We arrived here to visit Talisker the next morning. We called the family on arrival and there was still a spot available. Money can be deposited in the mailbox on the building. Simple but functional toilet and shower.

Very practical area for servicing your van: emptying grey water and chemical toilets and filling with drinking water. When we visited in April, the site was closed but all services remained accessible, which is ideal. It operates on trust; we left our contribution in the honesty box. Perfect for leaving with a clean, ready-to-go van. Recommended.

Small, clean, and functional family campsite with all services. Very kind owner who agreed to modify our reservation because of the storm. Each pitch has its own water and electricity connection. The Talisker distillery is 1.5 km away, and 1 km away is a fabulous pub, the Old Inn; it is better to reserve there too. Beautiful view over the loch.

Loved this parking spot! We were on the top spot, no wifi but views over a waterfall. The gravel was a bit uneven but nothing too much. Toilets and shower are basic but clean and work well. It's best to call ahead, it's a family owned campsite and they're here only once a day. Loved it, would come again!

Better to reserve because it may be full. Otherwise, self-entry via the honesty box. £22 per night for the first two nights, then £20 per night. Staff are not necessarily on site: it is run by a small family who come by once a day, but they can be contacted by email or phone. Five pitches. Water and electricity at each pitch. Grey-water and toilet disposal. Two toilets and one shower. Very clean and functional.

Didn't stay here (the nearby Glenbrittle Forest spot near the Fairy Pools is much nicer if you don't need hookup), but we did top off the fresh water. Look for the tap on the post to the right of the shed, lower down.

Each plot has electricity and fresh water on the post. There’s a place to empty chemical toilets and grey water tanks. A lovely electric shower and 2 toilets on site. And all this for £22. Amazing value for money. Really not sure how anyone can give it less than 5 stars.

We couldn’t find clean water to fill and no one was available to help us on site (this was around 18h/19h). We had one person staying on site very unwelcome saying we couldn’t use the place as it was for “members only”. We didn’t pay but it was only cash no contactless available.

£10 via the donation box to empty the toilet, grey water, and fresh water. The grey-water drain cannot be driven over with the camper; it must be poured into a small drain using a container. The chemical-toilet drain is an old outdoor toilet, but it is adequate. A hose for fresh water would be great, as would a proper grey-water drain.

Very basic campsite with standard services. £22 per night with access to drinking water and electricity. Be aware that hot showers cost £1 or £2, which we did not have in coins. Otherwise, a fairly quiet night and a campsite well located for visiting the Talisker distillery and the Fairy Pools.

Basic but great, and very cheap compared to others. More a community service / memorial than a profit making business but has everything you need. Get top pitch if possible for more secluded area and great views. Lovely shower. Near Old Inn which is great for food/ beer / vibes. Only five pitches.

The five pitches fill up very quickly. Those lucky enough to get a place receive a great deal for the price. We spent one night on pitch 3, which is a little higher up and more private. However, there was no Wi-Fi, which was not a problem. The price of £22 including electricity, water, showers, chemical-toilet emptying, and more is truly excellent.

Nice little campsite with everything you need. We stayed spontaneously, but reservations are also possible. You check in yourself; nobody is on site. Payment is made via an honesty box: £22 per night. Grey water and chemical toilets can be emptied. The toilets and showers were clean, and the shower had plenty of hot water. I would recommend the site and return.
