This is a long-term car park behind the station, suitable for daytime parking close to the city centre. Parking costs £6.30 for 24 hours, but overnight sleeping is not permitted and fines have been issued. Public toilets are directly opposite at the station and open from 8am to 11pm.

Stayed here last night. No issues with getting a fine. Met some local bloke who said that you should be fine unless you stay too long in the morning.
Parked here In the day no little roads to access in a motorhome was very good lots to do and see around was £6.30 for 24 hours can park for the 24 hours but not sleep so didn’t stay over night just parked for the day . When we arrived in the morning a few cars had penalty notices so didn’t want to risk the staying over however good car park for a motorhome during the day to visit the town
Paid £6 for 2 4 hours and stayed overnight in motorhome 11.8.23 to awake to a penalty charge notice! Still cheaper than a hotel!
No overnight parking. Fine for daytime.
