Payment via PayPal is not possible, only by credit card. Before booking, you should first check whether any pitches with electricity are still available. The cable-reel setup is quite an adventurous construction in places. There is also room rental on site, so there are many cars.✦Translating

Quiet campsite at night. Adequate sanitary facilities. The Grjótagjá fissure is 3 km away and very easy to reach on foot. Very good pizza; we ordered the largest one for 4,156 ISK = €29.11, which I do not find overpriced. As a campsite guest, you receive a 15% discount.✦Translating

Mixed opinion of this campsite: no designated pitches, everyone parks however they like, and the ground is uneven. The sanitary facilities are adequate. The pizzas are overpriced. Overall acceptable for one night.✦Translating

The sanitary facilities are very old. Only one shower and one toilet in the men's area, and the same in the women's area. The hot water runs when it feels like it. No reception—you have to pay at a machine, and someone comes to check the next day around 9 a.m. The ground is flat but there is no beautiful view. It feels like a campsite from the 1960s in France, Spain, Italy, or Portugal.✦Translating

Large campsite with all you will need during your stay. Clean hot showers, huge kitchen facility with few stoves, kettles and other equipment (lacking cutlety, tho) and a piano! If you have talented fingers, you can amuse other travellers with some classical tunes! :) Beautiful surroundings - Mývatn lake and Hverfjall volcano nearby. We loved it!

Hot showers and a large kitchen! Fairly priced compared to what you get. All you need while on the road. The views around are beautiful and it’s a fantastic place to watch the northern lights, as there are many dark spots around. Fully recommended!

Mixed feelings about this camping. The communal area and bathroom/shower are fine. However it’s a bit crowded what can lead to less privacy than you would expect. Nice surroundings and well equipped but a bit too expensive in my opinion.

The laundry costs more than camping, and there is not actually a laundry facility; they take your clothes away and bring them back. We did not use it because of the price. Otherwise fine, although there are only three showers.✦Translating

Charmless, surrounded by poor-quality hotel blocks shaped like containers. Staff come to check early in the morning that everyone has paid online. There is no hose for cleaning the toilet cassette, so you have to use the one for filling the water tank, which is very worrying hygienically!! Lots of people.✦Translating

Very nice campsite. The lounge is very spacious. The sanitary facilities are clean. There is an honesty shop where you can buy small items such as fly nets or knitted goods (hats, scarves, gloves).✦Translating

The toilets are okay, but for the price I expected better. The grass looks as if some vehicles got stuck, and everything is crooked and uneven. You cannot go outside either, because you are immediately attacked by a swarm of mosquitoes. The worst place of our trip!✦Translating

Good campsite. Large, well-equipped kitchen. Plenty of tables available. One area with heated showers and toilets. Another small area with unheated but clean showers and hot water. We chose this campsite for the washing machine, but the laundry service was also as expensive as the pitch for two people. Beware of midges if you want to enjoy the outdoors.✦Translating

The only drawback is that most of the ground, whether for motorhomes, vans, or tents, is uneven, and only a few vehicles—if you arrive first—will get the best spots and remain level. Greatly located campsite—relatively small, and even now in May it is full from around 8 p.m. Easy check-in via QR code and credit card. There are enough showers and toilets. Two huge cooking areas with kitchen equipment. We arrived around 5 p.m.—everything was spotlessly clean, and the female employee was very kind and courteous. Wi-Fi and free showers. We’ll be back.

A somewhat expensive campsite; the motorhome pitches are not defined, so everyone is packed in quite tightly. The electrical boxes are not arranged per pitch. Clean toilets. Black-water disposal next to the toilets.

Lots of space. Unfortunately, the tent area was closed, but you can set up a tent in the campervan area. Two showers and plenty of toilets, two kitchens (unfortunately poorly equipped with cutlery and so on; there were pots and pans). At the entrance there is a QR code used for booking and payment.

A somewhat small campsite, but it has a kitchen and a heated room!

I hesitated between 3 and 4 stars. A large grassy parking area, not flat, with vans and motorhomes packed tightly together between dirt tracks separated by earth mounds. It seems to be more of a place for renting rooms. Very practical and very well located. Very cold, with no services available through the QR code. Efficient. We had a good night despite very strong winds. I do not recommend it for tents.

I traveled all over Iceland, sleeping in very different campsites, and honestly I do not recommend this one, as there are much better options. Very expensive (€20 per person), no mobile coverage (and the Wi-Fi only works in the kitchen), little parking space, and we ran out of hot water in the shower. Still, it has electricity, bathrooms, and a large kitchen, so it’s not that bad.

A campsite with good value for money. Electrical outlets are available to connect your vehicle if needed, for an additional charge added to the nightly price. Toilets and bathrooms are fine. Pitch is fine. The highlight: two small kitchens and heated rooms for dining. Payment is handled entirely online. Arrive before 9 p.m. to find a spot.

We only stayed one night. One toilet in each bathroom, with two showers, for so many people. The kitchen was well equipped and there are several places to sit. It is self-service; you do everything online, and you have to figure things out by intuition. It’s fine for one night.

Hot and clean showers, decent toilets, decent kitchen area - all these are heated. Electricity available and water as well. What we missed (hence minus 1 star) was the personal touch, there's no personal approach it's all self check in and pay online.
