This small residential-area parking location has some free spaces, but many bays are private and must be checked carefully. Parking here has also been reported as prohibited, with a £100 penalty charge. It is about a 30-minute walk from Edinburgh Castle and is unsuitable for vehicles 7m or longer.

Parked here for couple of hours to check Edinburgh, be careful where you park as some spots are only for residents.
We were lucky to find a curbside parking spot for our 6m van around noon. We stayed for 5+ hours. Watch out where you parked as there are many private spots.
