As every year, I stayed two nights at Fridolin’s campsite again. What is amazing is that something new is created at the campsite every year. The front area is now paved and everything has been freshly painted. I felt very comfortable again and once more received new tips for good restaurants. I was also allowed to pick fruit from the trees free of charge.✦Translating

The son gave us a very friendly welcome, and the sanitary facilities were clean and okay. If desired, the owner will drive you into town for €5. The taxi back cost only €4. Although many chickens roam the site and the beehives are on the property, the prices for eggs and honey were massively inflated. Otherwise, the site is okay for one night.✦Translating

Great campsite with a workshop! They try everything to help if you have a problem. There are even covered pitches. The owner speaks German and his son speaks English. Chickens roam the site, and there are many olive and orange trees. There are good restaurants next door, and the city of Elbasan is absolutely worth seeing! Typically Albanian! We were very grateful that they were able to help us with our camper problem and had the replacement part in stock. We felt very comfortable on the site. The sanitary facilities were good. We stayed here for three nights. Because it had rained a lot, the site was quite muddy. The chickens walking around were not a problem. The washing machine cost €2.50 without detergent. Ten eggs cost €4. The sanitary facilities were clean. The big dog barked quite a lot. The road was barely audible at night. The owner was helpful and drove us into town.✦Translating

Slept here last night. Lots of chickens on the site, but no crowing from the roosters. The owner is very friendly and busy with camper repairs in his neat workshop. Everything is clean, and black and grey water can also be emptied. We paid the owner’s not-so-friendly partner. We also bought olive oil and honey, all produced in-house. The site was very wet due to heavy rainfall. A shame about all the cars and other vehicles parked everywhere. Hence only 3 stars.✦Translating

While the young man who greeted us was very pleasant, I had to pay the older man for the laundry and his attitude was unpleasant. I asked for the €3 change, which was only a small amount (€0.50), but his response was rude and dismissive, as if I were foolish to ask for such a small sum: "you are crazy and very unique to ask for 50 Leke."

The owner is very nice, but he has acquired a huge dog. It barks incessantly. There is noise from the road, as well as from the restaurant directly behind the covered pitches. No opportunity to walk the dog—very busy road!!!! Shower okay, no toilet paper.✦Translating

We went here solely because I was having mechanical problems with my van, first impressions weren’t good, very unfriendly owners. I felt that Germans were more favoured because the owner spoke German. Managed to fix the mechanical problems after a 2nd attempt and arranged for a replacement tyre at a nearby garage. I did however have a peaceful sleep despite the crowing cocks. Very cute cat

Very nice owner. You can choose your parking spot on the large property. The tomcat comes by from time to time. There are also lots of chickens and roosters walking around the property from early morning. It is lovely how much space they have. We were even allowed to take some eggs. Good and spacious sanitary facilities. Living room with TV and refrigerator with drinks; you simply record what you use, all on trust. Sale of eggs, olive oil and honey. Everything is allowed, such as choosing your own spot. Pleasant stay among ducks and chickens. I was here in May 2025.✦Translating

We stayed two nights with Albin. The site has everything you need, and the many chickens are very entertaining. Albin was able to help us with vehicle problems, although he specializes more in newer models.✦Translating

We felt very comfortable at Fridolin’s site, among chickens, roosters and ducks. When we arrived, our propane bottle was empty. Fridolin was kind enough to have it filled and put us on a pitch. Our morning coffee and tea were saved. Thank you again. Susanne and Paul from Berlin.

You can hardly believe it: city camping with chickens and ducks. And there is a nice, good workshop if you have a problem. Infrastructure (shower, toilet, etc.) all in order. We are happy to recommend it.

Site conveniently located for the city, with the character of a motorhome pitch. Some pitches have shaded roofs. New, well-maintained sanitary facilities; very friendly owner.

We were there in May. As a place to get help with problems, the site deserves five stars. The owner is nice and helpful. But as a campsite, only three stars. Sanitary facilities clean, price cheap, chickens and geese are charming. The car wrecks are somewhat unattractive. The nearby SH3 is a little noisy.

Clear recommendation. Albin and Fridolin immediately helped us with our car; chickens and ducks roam everywhere. Elbasan can easily be reached by bike in 15 minutes. The old fortress is worth a visit.

Actually a very nice campsite. On arrival it feels more like someone’s garden with a large truck and parking area, chickens walking around, beehives, etc.

Lots of space, level ground with plenty of greenery. Otherwise, there is nothing to add to the previous comments. Everything is great.

Great place, great workshop, great host. Everything clean, hot showers, black- and grey-water disposal. Large common room for bad-weather days and an absolutely recommendable restaurant right next door. The owner offers breakfast and excellent home-produced products such as honey and olive oil. We would happily return! €12 for two people, motorhome and electricity—an unbeatable price!

We stayed here for six days with a minor mechanical problem and severe water damage that had only just been discovered, despite being old. If Albin had not been there, we would have had to abandon our journey. He made a provisional repair, allowing us to continue. Our saviour in an emergency! The whole family is extremely nice and helpful, and the site has more than a camper could need.
