2 Via dei Forni, 57028, Suvereto
Been here?
A free, basic camper area close to Suvereto’s historic centre. It has grey- and black-water disposal and free water taps, but no electricity. The gravel area is somewhat sloped, with few spaces, narrow access, high grass and some local cars.

Camper area with facilities for emptying and filling gray and black water. Taps are available, and everything is free. Close to the historic center of Suvereto, which is worth a visit. The area is somewhat run-down, with tall grass along the edges and parked cars. Fine if you are not fussy ;-)
So, yes, the nicest spot, but the water worked for me and I could empty everything without problems, completely free of charge. The site is very close to the town center, although I do not know whether I would spend the night there.
The place is very convenient for visiting the village of Suvereto. There are indeed few spaces and a narrow entrance, but I still managed to enter with a 7.26-meter Rimor.
Gravel camper area, somewhat sloping and used by locals as a parking area. Service point available, but at this time the water is turned off. We stopped only long enough to visit the village.
Basic camper area, close to the center, with water filling and emptying facilities, no electricity. Fine for one night.
Simply impossible, not recommended.
It is simply disgraceful to pass this sort of dump off as a camper area. Difficult to enter and dangerous to leave, not to mention that the little available space is occupied by wrecks and cars, along with the woman who feeds the cats.
Near a beautiful village there is this desolate area: an abandoned caravan, a broken and abandoned canoe, boat and motorcycle trailers, discarded car tires, parked cars, scattered rubbish, and—to top it all—the emptying hatch is blocked and the four or five sinks with taps have no water. The only thing related to a camper area is the signs saying “CAMPER STOP AREA.” Money must have been spent creating it, and this is the result. Congratulations to the local administration.
Everything for emptying, water, bins, and lighting. Nice work by this municipality. There are a few cars, but it is not a problem. The parking area is quite large. Use a leveling block and the slope is no longer an issue. Close to the village. Climb to the Belvedere for views of Elba and Montecristo—1.5 hours round trip. Very friendly tourist office. And all of this is free... Thank you!
Because reviews said it was unsuitable for campers, I went to the sports facilities, but there was an event, so I came back here and entered with our 7.13-meter camper. Near the water-fill taps the ground is a little less sloped. Free and quiet.
Basic, but free. There is water, and the beautiful town is within walking distance.
Only water filling and emptying! Full of cars, unsuitable for campers. There are parked trailers and old caravans. Not suitable for campers.
A little untidy, but it is free and emptying the water and toilet is possible. Ideal for visiting the town and definitely worth it. Quiet at night; we slept well.
Small free parking area for campers, with water and wastewater facilities. No electricity. Short walk to the old town. Simply ideal, both for visiting the old town and for spending the night.
